ok, i'm about 90% done with this mod, 1 big issue remaining. i've got the projectile the color im looking for, but there's still a blue glow coming from something i cant seem to find: https://imgur.com/a/sj9ECw2 i only have a very basic understanding of using nifskope, so it may be something i've overlooked. the other (and much more minor) issue is the 'shatter' effect that is played when it impacts a non-actor/flesh object, that part is still blue as well. i cant seem to find the effect, i've looked through all the references for the original ice spike spell. this is less of a mod request and more of mod creation assistance at this point.. if theres a better forum for this pls let me know.

looking to create a new spell that is a dark purple recolor of ice spike or ice spear. this is intended as a 'shadow' version of the spell using the ice spike projectile, as most mods that had a 'shadow bolt' i could find had an underwhelming projectile. (no offense to authors) i have a decent amount of xedit experience, but meshes/textures on this scale are a bit out of my realm. i've tried recoloring the icicle .nif and changing hue of the .dds, but i'm not sure this is approaching it in the right way. i would also assume the impact decals and pre-cast hand glow would need to be recolored as well. pls let me know if i have overlooked some mod that already includes this, ive done a fairly exhaustive search of both og and sse mods. appreciate any input or assistance, would really complete my shadow magic nightblade build.

In response to post #55959201. #55960316, #55962051 are all replies on the same post. did you miss the part where I said 'I've left my suggestions in the feedback forum'? its not like there's any link to the feedback thread in this news article. its not clear where you're supposed to leave feedback. you've gone out of your way to tell anyone with an issue that its their problem. not very constructive yourself. no need to police every comment.

I'm not sure you understand the implications of what you are suggesting. with games, we have direct access to the files and engines we are modding. when you visit a website, you are requesting a page of something that is hosted, in this case in AWS, that we do not have direct access to. there's only so many things an end user can do before it is up to the admins that actually control the content. the question you should be asking is, why is up to the end user? this thread exists to fix the new site issues while being rolled out, and the old one hosted in parallel until that is complete. I'm using the old site as long as its up, or until the issues I and many other have with the new site is fixed. there's no need to create a solution to a problem that doesn't need to exist.

In response to post #55959201. I think you've missed the point what other website do you visit that you've had to 'mod' to get it to function how it used to? changes are fine and good, but forced changes that reduce options are not. it is the trend in the technology world today, not just this site. you've identified one thing- this is a mod site for a mod community. why can't it be MODular? oh, and firefox keeps your zoom settings because you keep session tokens when exiting the browser. my browsers do not keep session tokens for security reasons. I've left my suggestions in the feedback forum, anyone that agrees with scaling options should do the same.

while I do prefer the old layout, I don't expect it to be coming back at this point. The best would be to hope you add it as a layout style option on the new framework. however one thing you can do is give scaling options, something akin to gmail's 'comfortable' 'cozy' and 'compact options'. as it sits today, there are no options I could find in the user settings to make the layout smaller. Its 25% bigger than it used to be. things that were once quick access (mod author options, changelog, etc) are now shoved into combo boxes that require double the amount of clicks to navigate to. the only improvement I've honestly noticed is the search feature. it only takes 1 click to get a cursor in the search field instead of 2-3. twowolves, not everyone sits on this website waiting for something new to popup. when I got a notification there was a new layout available, I ignored it because I didn't have time to try something new. now that its forced on me, your absolutely f*#@ing right I've got feedback, and that's why it was rolled out in a staged format. to get feedback along the way. I'm not going to go out of my way to a website that is frustrating to use, especially since it USED to be fine. anyone suggesting that end user workarounds should be made to 'fix' an underlying issue is a dipshit. heres to hoping suggestions are actually considered.

In response to post #55956336. #55957456, #55958306 are all replies on the same post. with chrome, you can set global via settings. if you are suggesting that I ctrl+minus 2x every time I visit this website, that's an even more ridiculous workaround.

In response to post #55956336. modifying browser zoom is a global setting for the browser, not just this webpage. that is not a solution. new font doesn't scale well either with browser zoom. much like how web gmail offers 'comfortable' 'cozy' and 'compact' layout options, something similar would be good here.

In response to post #55925576. #55929271, #55937081, #55938461 are all replies on the same post. I checked old vs. new for mod descriptions, the process is the same, the editor is even the same, the font on the published mod page is the only thing different.. not sure what you were getting at there. -it actually takes more clicks to get to it now, with the stupid combo box they've shoved all the mod author options into. I realize they are on a completely new platform and might not be able to host both sites in parallel. but did they invest in a platform with no modularity to allow for different look and feel options? it's pretty clear by the comments here a lot of people do not like the new layout, and there shouldn't be any money truckload roadblocking them from developing an old style layout on this new framework. as an author yourself, you should have recognized how many extra clicks it takes to get to things that were once quick-access.

In response to post #55925576. #55929271 is also a reply to the same post. well that would be incredibly lame. if they refuse to offer old layout, at least add some scaling options. I dont need everything to look like a big-button telephone you give old folks, or a mcdonalds cash register but they probably won't, because this is how they effectively made their advertisement banners larger.

new layout: increase scale of everything by 25% and make it look like windows 10. UX is terrible. why the f*** does everything have to be so big. at least the search feature is fixed. having to click the search field twice was annoying please keep the option to use old layout once roadmap is complete.

Hello experts, I would like to see an outfit that is stylized after Roger Moore in Live & Let Die. Black long-sleeve turtleneck with leather holster, black pants/boots with belt buckle. The holster could either be integrated into the outfit itself, or possibly a secondary apparel item Ex: http://thesuitsofjamesbond.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Live-and-Let-Die-Polo-Neck.jpg Another holster shot: http://www.imfdb.org/images/b/b1/Lald-mag2.jpg Ideally, this would also include a Nickel plating retexture to the .44 pistol, or a new standalone Nickel .44 Ex: http://www.imfdb.org/images/a/a4/Lld-sw29a.jpg I would like to try this myself, but am terrible at creating textures. Any idea how difficult this request is?
