  1. I have been playing for several years and this has never happened. When I remove anything from my body (clothes, armor) the game crashes. I can replace clothes with armor no problem. Any thoughts?
  2. I just added a lot of mods trying to get a better skin tone on the NPCs and now some, not all, of them have a red hazy triangle around them. You can see the face, but the neck down is covered. Does anyone know how to fix this?
  3. I downloaded the new NMM and all the mods were there but it says I'm not logged in and the game won't start. How can I fix this?
  4. I'm a "senior citizen" new to this modding thing but am trying to learn. I recently got this warning on my Mod Organizer and now I can't start the game. Files in the Overwrite mod are are usually files created by an external tool (i.e. Wrye Bash, Automatic Variants, ...). It is advisable you empty the Overwrite directory by moving those files to an existing mod. You can do this by double-clicking the Overwrite mod and use drag&drop to move the files to a mod. Alternatively, right-click on Overwrite and create a new regular mod from the files there. I can find these files in my file explorer but have no idea if what is in them is necessary. I found 10 overwrite folders. How do I know what to leave alone and what to change to an existing mod? (not all overwrite files contain items)
  5. I have been playing Skyrim for about 1 year. When it is working correctly it is great. However, there have been three times when (after adding new mods) my character and npcs become stick figures. Instead of just asking for a fix, I'd like to know why this happens. Does it have to do with the order of mods? If so, which is the critical mod to look at? Does it have with a mod getting changed when other mods are added? Again, which is the critical mod? Is it something else that you can point to? Thanks ahead of time for your shared wisdom.
