  1. Thanks for the vid's, while I am familiar with MO and have probably watched some of those videos I'll give them another look. It isn't in program files, I created a new folder under the admin user named Games & installed steam & everything to that folder & then even installed MO to the Skyrim directory in that folder. Like I said earlier running as admin didn't help and it should have full permissions already but I'll try the compatibility settings. Edit: I'm following STEP's guide as closely as I can in respect to SSE. Edit: I'm running SSE and literally started playing again yesterday, does MO work with SSE or I see there's a MO2 in beta, do I need that for SSE? Edit: Bump not needed, still cannot get MO to work.
  2. New computer, windows 10. I accidentally ran MO before I ran skyrim, it didn't list any games (duh). Ran skyrim, same results with MO. Uninstalled MO, deleted remaining folder, Ran game, installed MO, still not picking it up. I can't seem to navigate to it either, I created a new folder outside of program files for all my games, Admin account, everything should be full control on permissions. I ran MO as admin, just tried installing as admin. Help..? Edit: Browsing the forums getting caught up on going's on. Is NMM where it's at now? I see a lot of ppl using it..on the technical support forum. I have the special edition also.
  3. I didn't realize I had an older version still in my >Games>Steam>common>skyrim and was getting error 3 for SkyUi. Removed the older version without moving skse loader & such out of the original folder & tried running skse through MO except the old drop down short cut now pointed to tes5edit.. I discover/remember moving the loader & pex files, do that & that's where I'm at & I'm getting "Cannot find skse_steam_loader.dll" "Couldn't inject DLL" I have MO skse binary pointing at skse_loader.exe. 'Run in' _is blank. I have skse_1_9_32.dll in my skyrim folder but don't see steam_loader... Going to try a reinstall of skse in a while, but in the meantime if anyone could point out my mistake it would be much appreciated! Solved, in my sleep deprived state I used the 7z and not the installer.
  4. Completely removed all my wirebash, loot, skse, MO, etc; kept vannila steam sykrim. Re-installed updated MO, verifying game cache, on to mods yadda yadda. I was just wondering if there is anything I should look out for/be aware of/Mod or tool or tweek that is the preferred method now as I relearn?
  5. Just curious what skse memory patch OP and everyone else is using, the old "give first born to" patch is obsolete with the latest skse, idk if the old one would cause conflicts. Does everyone use STEP's guide for ENBoost or just use the nexus version?
  6. This seemed to work for me, using MO MO>profiles>[your profile]> Delete skyrim.ini & skyrimprefs.ini Steam>steamapps>blah blah blah> look for different skyrim ini's from different settings I.E. high.ini , veryhigh ect as well as skyrim.ini & prefs ini. Delete all of them. ***MAKE NOTE OF ANY INI TWEAKS YOU ARE USING*** Run skyrim through steam w/ your desired settings, exit, run through MO (or w/e), ini tweaks, enjoy. Seemed to happen to me from playing around with different display settings too much.
  7. I went to sleep with about 14% woke up to download failed. Trying to resume results in below MO log. I've already started a manual dl & cleared the failed MO dl. If so, how do I workaround or avoid this for future reference? Other than, not let my comp sleep which kills my connection & dl larger files manually. 9:13:05 [D] request resume from url http://filedelivery.nexusmods.com/110/1000115593/Remodeled%20Armor%20for%20CBBE%20Bodyslide%20TBBP%20HDT-25259-5-1.7z?ttl=1424412387&ri=8192&rs=8192&setec=eb8daf32ff950ae8e1d2e... 09:13:05 [D] resume at 142591924 bytes 09:13:05 [W] Download error occured: 202 09:13:05 [D] Download failed: Error downloading http://filedelivery.nexusmods.com/110/1000115593/Remodeled%20Armor%20for%20CBBE%20Bodyslide%20TBBP%20HDT-25259-5-1.7z?ttl=1424412387&ri=8192&rs=8192&setec=eb8daf32ff... 09:10:19 [D] resume at 142591924 bytes
  8. I was having some similar issues. Thinking it was a mod issue I removed several mods (since added back most) & a spree of system tweaks (setting skyrim to higher priority in task manager, stopping unnecessary processes>services, removed crap like wild tangent, run spybot & ect) finally moving my MO & steam folders out of program files(x86) to User>docs>games & deleting modorganizer.ini & all my old profiles & their .ini's. Somewhere among all that got me running pretty darn smooth. Up to the lag issue I hadn't had any noticeable problems being in (x86) besides having to set a few control permissions & the directory move & deleting ini's is where I really seen improvement. Maybe just rebuild your ini's. NOTE: I am NOT an expert & switching dir will require legwork.
  9. After reading multiple conflicting sources regarding FPS/performance a poll sounds in order. The individuals computer itself will obviously affect what kind of hit you take so as far as the poll is concerned please keep it 'in general', but feel free to discuss Effects/FPS/System below.
  10. I don't have an ENB installed myself but I'm reading up on them, mainly ENBoost ect. There's some specific instructions on some of them, perhaps you missed a step.
  11. Reading on STEP's wiki it states "STEP does not recommend downloading the Skyrim Nexus version of ENBoost due to incorrect settings for STEP" which lead me to RealVission & ICBINE 2. I'm not looking for ENB's per say, mainly looking to further improve stability & performance (which is pretty damn good atm after some tweaking). Questions - Is ENBoost on nexus still incompatible, is an ENBoost even necessary anymore, RealVision must be compatible right and finally ENBoost vs ICBINE 2 purely for performance & stability? Thanks for reading. Edit ICBINE 2 is reportedly not compatible w laptops..
  12. Created a clean save, re-loaded mods, camera is...better than it was. AFT issues after clean save re-load, attempting to resolve. Basically resolved, would still like to know the .ini changes to change first person camera.
  13. Do I smell funny, is that why no one likes me? I still can't figure this out & not for a lack of trying. Every post I make on here is after extensive searching & is normally remedied by a simple fix found normally with VERY specific search terms. I feel like Will Smith in I-robot talking to that damn holograph, not asking the right questions.. I've tried several mods, most recently "customizable camera"
  14. I'm playing as a Monli with the height cranked up using race menu, just shorter than adult. I got tired of barely peeking over desktops and struggling to see top shelves in first person, Worked great. I installed- SIZE DOES MATTER Fores new idles in skyrim " " " " " spells """" creature pack More follower voices mod + khajiit FNIS sexy move Realistic ragdoll & force skykids npc files XP32 maximum skeleton Roughly in that order, Bash patched for the first time if that matters, cleaned dirty masters. My 1st person view is set back to the standard monli height even though i'm still much taller in third person. Player size adjuster & camera fix didn't work. Also my crosshairs target higher, ie to target something on a table I have to aim my crosshairs above it quite a bit. From what I've gathered I can edit skyrim.ini but I'm lost to what value on what string
  15. Thanks, I'll def check out TRM, mountains and rocks were my main focus.

Popular Pro's/Con's, other mods? I await your opinions will I read up Edit- Vivid Landscapes - Rocking Stones and Mountains Two Updated: 25/01/2015 Vivid Landscapes - All in One by Aron Updated: 11/01/2015 Does the All in one contain the rocking stones update?
  17. Solved make sure the patcher esp is at the bottom of your load order(ie: move it to the bottom) and re-run the armor patcher(you may need to check the 'force patch' box to get it to run again). At this point you should be able to run LOOT again and have everything work fine, just make sure any new armor plugins you add are sorted above(either manually or via LOOT) the armor patcher esp before attempting to patch them(once patched, LOOT should sort everything properly).
  18. I'm currently exp a simmilar issue. Do any of your mods require an armor patch like SUM or SKArmorPatcher? Only other thing I can say is go back & read the info on each mod to see if they require any special action.
  19. Currently I'm opening loot last report copying & pasting from that but you'll get a bunch of extra info on each mod even if you filter it to hide then copy. How do you get your load order in a nice neat pastable form?
