  1. Customizable Camera is essential for 3rd Person players like yourself. Tweak the settings in the MCM to fit your tastes. Personally, I change the default camera setting to "Center - Above." Then, increase the combat zoom to about 30-35, and enable "Adaptive Sneaking" and set the camera distance for adaptive sneaking to about 40-45. Oh, and the FOV (1st person) to 85-90. After making these changes, open up the in-game interface menu that lets you choose items, magic, map, etc. This finalizes the customizable camera settings.
  2. Not sure about your specific errors, but I was able to get a smoother Requiem experience with a bunch of additional mods added in by getting rid of most of my audio/sound mods. Too many patches and load order requirements for them to be worth it (for me). Found way less CTDs, etc. as soon as I made the tough decision to ditch the audio/sound mods. If you figure out your bashed patch issue but are still experiencing issues in-game, I'd recommend starting a new game without AOS, additional music replacer, and immersive sounds. Also, not sure if it was something with my specific setup, but I remember reading something on the Warbug Map page that made me decide against using it along with Requiem (again, this may have been in relation to another mod I was using alongside Requiem).
  3. ArtMurder: Great post! I have been experimenting with Requiem the last couple weeks and am trying to perfect my setup. Would you mind sharing the list of all mods you use with Requiem along with your load order for those mods?
  4. The awesome Azirok here on the Nexus has made numerous patches for a ton of major mods to work with Requiem, along with a bunch of smaller patches as well. He said he generally makes patches for mods he uses. I noticed 2 widely-used mods he has not made a patch for (NOT a criticism in any way, he is THE MAN). I requested he make patches for these mods, but obviously if he doesn't use them (haven't confirmed that) then there is little to no motivation for him to create patches. So, I turn to the wonderful modding community for the requests. Is there a talented modder out there that would be willing to take on the task of creating Requiem patches for: (1) Helgen Reborn; and (2) Cutting Room Floor? I'm not entirely positive they need a patch, but since they both add NPCs, I'm thinking they would both, at the very least, benefit from a Requiem patch. Anyone willing to do this would be GREATLY appreciated, and I would guess there are a number of other players that would download and use these patches. Thanks!
  5. Thanks for the suggestion lorax. Definitely not gonna modify requiem myself, but I'll take a look at some other sleep mods out there. That being said, I had a few more thoughts on this idea and I really think it has some legs. I love how in Requiem you truly start small and become powerful over time due to the unleveled enemies, etc. However, I'm still on level 1 and have basically just been chopping firewood and hunting small game to make a little money (side note - is it normal to only get 1/2 gold per piece of firewood at level 1, i.e., 30 gold for 60 firewood?!). I ventured out and fought a couple wolves and barely escaped with my life. Now I am forced to listen to my incessant about-to-die heartbeat sound constantly. I don't have enough money for a healing potion, I haven't found the recipe for a healing poultice, and attempts to sleep for many hours did not heal me one bit. So, in the interest of taking the sting/grind out of the very early levels, here is my more fleshed-out idea: The mod would simply heal the requiem character 10 HP per hour of sleep, up to a maximum of 120 HP (12 hours sleep) per day. This would allow super low level characters another avenue to heal themselves, but would not be something that could be relied on past level 10 or so. So, as a lowly scrub scrounging for some coin and crappy gear, I can at least go out and pick a reasonably winnable fight, then hunker down and sleep for the night and wake up healthy. But, as I start to level up, sleeping 12 hours for 120 HP just isn't really viable - you'd still have to rely on Requiem's built-in healing methods. If anyone is willing/able to do this, I think it would be pretty sweet and wouldn't ultimately disrupt the overall flavor of Requiem. I work all day to scrounge up some money in this thing called real life... I love me some immersion, but I also want to balance it with a little more fun and I think this would do the trick.
  6. Hello, Starting out with Requiem and loving it so far. One thing I really want is for sleep to allow me to heal like in vanilla Skyrim. I like the difficulty, but the lack of any health regen is a bit much for me. I am aware of the healing poultice option, but have not created one yet. My understanding is that it is a one-time use item, correct? Either way, if anyone is able to bust out a quick mod that allows my character to heal from sleep (perhaps only if I sleep a minimum of 8 hours or some such limitation), it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!
  7. Has anyone else thought of picking this project up? I too would enjoy SkyRe's perks with Requiem handling the rest.
