Memory blocks log mod help please..:(
sophiextime replied to sophiextime's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
hI Kriiks. Thank you so so much for replying to my call for help. i was worried as my topic was getting lower and lower on the forum and a bit sad that maybe it was a trivial need and overlooked but you answered it and your help is so appreciated. i did as you suggested and now my game seems ( touch wood) CTD free. Thankyou again! ( big hugs) -
Hello ya'all. I posted this on the Memory B;ocks Log Mod page but i fear it doesnt get read or checked much so thought i would ask on this more active forum thread. So i hope this makes sense as i wish to improve my games memory and reduce possible CTDS.... I use MO( Mod Organizer). i have installed the memory Blocks log mod into my MO and ran my game, came out and found the log file in overwrite that i could check and read. then unchecked the memory MOD as suggested so no hangups so far. MO running fine. But watching Gopher on his very awesome video about this, he says to go to the skse.ini file. His path is ... Steam Apps > Common > skyrim > Data > SKSE . then he has a skse.ini file ( or suggests creating one). i did as Gopher said regarding installing skse and they are now in Skyrim folder ( ie launcher , loader etc) which is super and working fine, but there is no skse.ini file there. I even searched my pc for a skse.ini file and one does not exists. All my skse scripts are in a folder in my MO folder as per gophers instructions and i am happy with that. So.. Do i go as far as i can, ie. Steam> steamapps > Common > skyrim > data and then create a new folder called SKSE and then create a document called skse.ini? which would be where i then paste my.... In-game textures issue :( help please...
sophiextime replied to sophiextime's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Well i changed the VideoMemoryMB to 8192 in the MAX performance 8GBRAM folder and then restarted the game and it had no effect at all. exactly the same thing occured. Do i adjust anything in the MaxStability folder? Also there is a 16GBRAM folder but i didnt touch that as my available memory via the test indicates i go via the 8GB option. It just blurs again. Maybe i need to set it higher. the test stated i had 28000mb available with i think means i can go up to about 10000 ro even some more without exceeding my limit. but its just annoying this has started to happen over last few days. :( It was fine a week ago and i havent added any texture packs. only the new DEF HUD mod. -

In-game textures issue :( help please...
sophiextime replied to sophiextime's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
i installed ENboost and also read the description and installed to my desktop his Vramsizetestdx11. when i run it to check my Pcs details it came back with this.... Video memory available (Mb): 29536 Now i think he said that its best to allow for browsers etc that use memory too so lets say for safety i went with 28000 mb available, what do i change my VideoMemorysizeMb too in the enblocal.ini file? this is what it is currently.. Some of My Textures Have Suddenly Become "Soupy"
sophiextime replied to ADD1CTEDGAM3R's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
Yeah i just posted a topic on this as well. It really sucks if its down to a patch breaking the game. Mine seem to pop in and out.. i can walk along, stop to look at a trash can or rusty car and literally watch it popping in and out of soapy textures to sharp. then a whole bridge will go blurry and then even npc outfits. Its totally killing my joy of this game. i might go back to Skyrim and Witcher 3 cuz right now, i am reeealy not enjoying fallout 4 simply because of this texture issue. i have tried so hard to try to overlook it, ignore it with hope it may fix or not be a immersion killer, but i just cant do it anymore when i am crouching beside a blurry building fighting blurry mutants :( -
Hi x I am having so horrible in-game texture issues. I have been playing fallout 4 since i got it on Ultra and pretty well left the settings alone. I have modded the game and use NMM. i have a lot of hours in the game so for a long while haven't had any issues. Early this week i upgraded to windows 10 from windows 8.1 ( not that i am saying this is the issue as i am not sure). I noticed yesterday that when i now play my game i have texture issues. as i load into my save game and start playing they blur and then seem to jump in and out of clarity. when i watch a texture for long enough it sharpens and is fully detailed. But then randomly they will blurr again and this is for all objects around me, from rusty vehicles, wall surfaces, wall pictures, even settler/npc clothing. I have some screen shot examples if i can load them here showing the difference between the sharp and blurry. Is it likely a MOD i have installed or a windows setting? i have regularly upgraded my NVIDIA and updated the mods i have to always their recent versions. I can post a list of my MODS if needed and i have also used the LOOT thats on Nexus and it says all my mods are fine and in order. So i am at a loss. help. i couldn't seem to upload 4 pics so the best examples are the cars...car1 blurry, Car2 sharp ( dashboard instruments interior of car etc). the billboard was another example. (sighs)

CBBE bodyslide naked help please! :(
sophiextime replied to sophiextime's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
ok i did that. Outfit/Body: CBBE Body ( thats what top box shows on my bodyslide program) then... Preset: preset pregshape1 ( is that my saved preset is and showing in that box). I think click BUILD below. It then throws a pop up saying ' Successfully processed the following files :Program files (x86) > Steam> Steamapps> Common> Fallout 4> Data> Textures > Actors > CharacterAssets> femalebody.nif I also noticed that when i have previously clicked 'Batch Build' it lists a long line of outfits but never shows any listing for the CBBE body, not sure if it should be. But anyways, i did as above, loaded game. happily showed her heavily pregnant with clothing on. BUT once again when i remove her clothes she is flat belly CBBE default curvy body shape. I am so confused as i really thought by clicking BUILD on a custom preset body it would change her shape clothed and unclothed. -
hello I am using the CBBE mesh body ( curvy) and have the body slide installed. as well as the vanilla to CBBE conversion for outfits. I have been trying to follow guides and so far have managed to create various presets, each with a different shape so its easy for me to see the differences in game. Now my problem is this. When i click BUILD and BATCH BUILD in Bodyslide using one of my presets showing, it loads that shape in game. BUT it seems to be only effecting my character when she is clothed. For example one preset was a very pregnant look. In game her belly was very large when wearing clothing. but when i removed all her clothes her body went back to the default curvy CBBE shape, flat belly etc. no bump or custom shaping. Yet my bodyslide program still shows the pregnant preset loaded. How do i get a preset shape to show on her naked shape as well as her clothes shape? When i clicked 'save preset' it did give my optional tick boxes, ie CBBE, outfits etc. and then it seemd to sav a xml file in my bodyslide presets folder in my game directory. Please help!

ok today i seemed to find NMM updating to a newer version that fixed the plugins being deactivated. it listed one of its fixes as such. Yet now every-time i start the game it STILL deactivates all my plugins. if i activate them all and they all show ticked myself, then load a save and even minimise the game to windows to check NMM, they are all still ticked and active. Yet my game wont load any MODS at all. all my mod clothing, texture and weather mods are all non existent. i even had all my armour and weapons in containers i built in a mod and they have all gone too, all due to this stupid friggin plugin issue. So this new update by NMM DOESNT fix the plugin deactivating issue??!! Or did Bethesda AGAIN jump in and screw it up for us...again?! right after this update?!

hahaha actually it would be funny if Dogmeat 'sometimes' wasnt quite so brave and when a Deathclaw or something big attacks, he actually whimpers and runs away and hides...hehe.. :)
-
Oh i also wanna be able to reward him with a dog snack/treat when he finds stuff or defends me. A Dogmeat scoobysnack! Maybe give him one of them yucky looking sweetrolls...eww..

I know this will likely be when GECK is released but i LOVE having Dogmeat as my companion. But i just wish i could have more interaction with him. I wish i could have more chat commands and conversation with him. I am always talking to my rl dog and cuddling him and wrestling him on the floor and he is so affectionate and loyal. So i wanna : Belly rub Dogmeat Feed Dogmeat Brush and wash Dogmeat. have him curl up at my feet when i sit or sleep. have him run around me in circles and jump up me playfully. have him greet other friendly NPCs with happy barks and play fetch with a ball I want him to play and interact with other FO4 friendly dogs and randomly chase the gulls and crows. I even want him to go pee and poop now and then..hehe. But to have more talk options where i can activate some of those options i mentioned through the Dogmeat command console popup. Then he would never leave my side :D I also wanna be able to change his name maybe and for the game to recognise it, but thats a huge task i finks...

At least i still have lots of 'Lets Play' vids by Gopher to enjoy XD He is just so awesome and fun to watch!! i am in giggles everytime i watch. Funniest moment was today when that hovering bot thingy screamed " oh my god we are all gonna Die!" which was that goofy radio DJ for Diamond city and Gopher about lept out of oh his vault suit! hehe XD

Well i know eventually the way to play a modded Skyrim was via SKSE launcher so i can see that the FOSE ( Fallout 4 Script Extender) will be the way to go, especially once GECK is released. The sheer volume, passion and effort thats gone into the Mods so far for FO4 has been breathtaking. I have been overwhelmed and maybe Bethesda is just trying to keep up with their fixes and updates, not excusing my intense frustration today..hehe. It is still fairly early days so i will take a deeep breath, calm down and prey in a month or two from now i will giggle at this.

Also incidentally my Steam is not participating with Beta so it was a non-beta update today :(

Right now as it stands i have found only ONE successfuly method for playing my Fallout 4 as it was fully modded before this darn update. its is as follows: (( First i went into the settings 'cog' at the top of NMM and in the general tab unchecked ' close Nexus Mod manger after game launch' )) then.. 1) Open NMM. You will see all the plugins unchecked. (or maybe checked) anyways... 2) Top top left of NMM you will see a tab ' Launch Fallout 4'. 3) Click it once. this opens up a FO4 launch popup. when it does this, after a few seconds you will suddenly see all your plugins on NMM uncheck automatically.grrr... 4) click the green Tick on the left and activate them all again. 5) Now on the game launcher popup for Fallout 4 click PLAY. The game should run with all your MODS.:) Only downside so far is you have to do this each time you freshly launch NMM and Fallout 4 via steam. I am sure there are better ways to do this and i hope a fix soon but this clumsy method i use works for now.

ok can you tell me exactly how to turn it off ( in simple-sophie language as i not the smartest cookie.) and also.. is this going to ever effect my usage of MODS via Nexus or any future methods? i am always nervous about turning stuff off and not being able to ever successfully turn it back on when people later shout " OMG you turned that off!!??" hehe. Also.. i honestly dont ever remember purposely accepting any ON switch for beta. i just simply installed Fallout 4 via steam and then followed Gophers advise via youtube on how to adjust the ini files to allow for modding. all this Beta stuff gives me headache :( I dont wanna be anyones guniea-pig :( cries...

ok please correct me anywhere i go wrong here but i went to : C: > Program files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > Common > Fallout4. I see the fallout4.exe. How do i make a link to desktop from that when i right click it? i see all sorts of options but nothing that says create link etc. ( sorry if i seem very technically stupid) >.<
