Yes there are overhauls, but I have a different idea. There is space around the house where someone could build some of the rooms. There is space behind the stables, below the house on the hill, perhaps above the house on the hill, and something reminiscent of a min going into the hill.

Having this same problem. You (and I) should look at the warnings in the log. As a starter do you have any mods related to "ecks_iadistributionscript "Ecks_ShieldPaintingRackActivateScript "SKHFGuardTowerRepairScript etc. edit: My log won't show... s*** edit: opened through steam and not SKSE. That narrows the options. OP, perhaps you can find help in my struggles...
