  1. I'm fairly new to the Creation Kit and I'm trying to make my first real mod. I know how to change the normal damage values and effects on spells, but is there any way to make the spell do bonus damage to specific enemy types, essentially like the Silver Sword? For example, would I be able to make a spell that does 8 DPS to a living enemy, and 16 DPS to a Draugr, Vampire, etc.?
  2. *facepalm* I saw that and the only reason I ignored it was I originally wanted a Cowboy Repeater until I remembered I had it modded for no peep sight XD. Well thanks for pointing me back to that
  3. The reason I wanted to point out that it would be a personal mod was because I know how much work has to go into making mods like this. A full conversion would take God knows how long, but I'm doing a cowboy character and I only want 2 weapons; the .357 revolver and the brush gun. Would anyone feel like doing this? Obviously it isn't some decisive thing I need to enjoy the game but I think it would be cool. That said, I know that it requires quite a bit of work and I completely understand if nobody wants to take it on.
  4. Well, I managed to fix it. It turns out it was the steam overlay that was causing the problems like Testudini said. Thanks guys for your suggestions and help
  5. Okay, it is definitely the ENB. I did a clean re-install of New Vegas and everything was normal until I installed the ENB. I know I followed the directions on the nexus and I've had it installed and working before, so it should be fine.
  6. After getting outside and walking around a bit, I figured out that the entire world goes transparent, but only when I look in a certain direction. This (https://www.sendvid.com/96bdbur7) is just me spinning in a circle for a few seconds to show what I mean. No Steam notifications or anything, and this is after re-installing the ENB (Bleak ENB).
  7. That I do. Could that be the culprit? I had changed to a different one briefly so I could have forgotten to delete some files from the old one.
  8. I recently downloaded New Vegas after I started getting a glitch where some textures would show up and some wouldn't. I removed all of my mods, re-installed, and downloaded some of the mods back (but not nearly as many as before), but I still sometimes get the glitch. Sometimes I will load the game up, and sometimes I will get (http://postimg.org/image/py90i1id3/) this. In the case of this screenshot, I started a new game and everything was normal, but then I quit to get the first person camera mod and this happened when I got back. Here is my load order: FalloutNV.esm Tribal Pack.esm | | | Gun Runner's Arsenal.esm FCOMaster.esm A Better Cass - Rearmed SG.esp A Better Veronica.esp Dark Justice Duster.esp GoodspringsFarmhouse_v1.2.esp I Got Spurs.esp CM Lighting DLC Support.esp CM_Lighting_FNV.esp RealSmokes.esp Lever Rifle fire rate slow.esp SW38S.esp (Just a gun mod) TFH Better Authority Glasses.esp A Better Cass.esp Not in the load order, I have SSS Western Sound Overhaul, Weapon Animation Replacers, cowboy repeater retexture, and NMC Medium texture pack. My specs are Core i3 4130, 8GB RAM, Sapphire R9 280 3GB. Any help will be greatly appreciated and I thank anyone in advance.
  9. I just looked at all of those mods, and they look great. Thanks for the suggestions. I'm sure I've seen all of them, but after sifting through so many categories, I just start to skim over everything XD. As for trying a new build, I've tried that a few times, but I always end up either going straight mage or straight 2 handed sword, heavy armor. I'm not sure why that is.
  10. I really loved Skyrim on the xbox 360, and when I got a PC that was able to run it, you bet I bought it on Steam. But, unfortunately, I'd burnt myself out on the console to the point that I can't really play for more than 35 minutes before getting bored. I've gotten tons of mods over time, but it just seems like the same ol' Skyrim with better visuals and some more armors/weapons glued on top. What mods would you reccomend to make it a little more interesting? Just note that by "interesting", I don't mean Thomas the Tank Engine dragons and playing as Spiderman .
  11. I hate how you hold shields in the vanilla game, so I'm looking for one that makes the character hold shields like they do on Dark Souls (that's the only example I could think of at the moment), but I haven't been able to find one. Do any of you have suggestions?
  12. On the description page, it says I have to change "reservedmemorysizemb" and "videomemorysizemb". I've gone on Google and found the equation for it, but the numbers people say don't seem to make sense and I still don't really understand what I'm suppost to put in specifically. I have an R9-280 with 3GB of RAM and 8GB of system RAM. Please excuse my cluelessness, but I just now got a rig capable of running any serious mods XD.
  13. I'll admit, I'm completely hopeless when it comes to even the simplest modding, which is why I'm asking for someone to do this. I just think it would be pretty fun to hear Rob Halford doing a high note and blowing people away.
