  1. Half the mods do not work where you follow the instructions they give, if you use the vortex manager or even if you follow some stupid YouTube rabbit hole. Even my previous post to this forum for one of them which is clearly and politely worded. And been viewed dozens of times and nobody even bothers to reply. Yell can enjoy the false promises and bs that doesn't work. I only got like maybe 8 mods for hogwarts to work. I could only get two to work for God of War. And I spend hours and hours trying every possible way I could find on the internet. I'm over it. f*#@ modding games I was having more fun that this just playing them as they were. An f*#@ all you assholes who saw my post and decide to be all pompous and not even say anything. Even the forum sucks. I'm out.
  2. So I'm trying to install a mod for hogwarts legacy called companions mod because it's apparently Betty than anytime companions because now they can use spells. The instructions seem simple enough. Launch web based program hogwarts legacy save editor and upload save game file HL-00-00.sav which is a manual save not one of those auto saves or whatever. Then scroll to the bottom of left side panel and select save file. From there select option download database 1. This is where s#*! is f*#@ed. It automatically saves it as .SQLite format, but when you try to open it with SQLight it says error cannot open database because database is not a database. When attempting to open it in dB browser for SQLight, it first asks for a password, and nowhere did anything mention a password. But after that it says error cannot open because this is an invalid format. I've tried both db1 and db2 with both programs and downloaded each several different times using several different web browsers. I also tried all of the aformention steps but saving the file as .DB. Always get the same stupid responses that my filetype is apparently not what it claims to be. Even though windows property window also displays it as an SQLite file type. s#*! is bunk I'm no expert but I do nothing but dabble and tinker in pc software. And this is clearly leaving out important information that you need or the web based software is not saving files correctly.
