  1. While this is personal preferance would recommend adding these lines to your Skyrim.ini if you like to play in 3rd person. [Camera] fOverShoulderCombatAddZ=0.0000 fOverShoulderCombatAddY=0.0000 fOverShoulderCombatAddX=0.0000 fOverShoulderCombatPosZ=0.0000 fOverShoulderCombatPosY=0.0000 fOverShoulderCombatPosX=0.0000 fOverShoulderPosY=0.0000 fOverShoulderPosX=0.0000 fOverShoulderHorseAddY=13.0000 fOverShoulderHorsePosZ=0.0000 fOverShoulderHorsePosX=0.0000 It smoothens out the camera turning/scrolling, and also centers the camera behind the player (aposed to over-the-shoulder) and it prevents the camera auto zooming out, and in everything you unsheath your weapons/spells etc. You may also be interested in This it apprently stops the motion/bobbing that you spoke of, but i haven't tried it myself therefor can't personally vouch for it.
  2. I also think this is a great idea, its actually deterring me from dual wielding atm, as i find it annoying that one weapon vanishes every time i sheath lol
  3. Have you tried verifing the game's cache through steam? as it sounds, to me like the game is still using a dodgy texture dds from a mod instead of from the bsa. Backup your "My Games" inis before doing so, as they will probably be reset, then just pop yours back in afterwards.
  4. Have you tried using a different body-mod (or temporary removing it alltogether) to see if theres a change? because it sounds like dodgy normal mapping to me. the engine is looking for a certain colour value, and receiving the wrong one, and it can create lines or artifacts on an actor/object when light hits it, is my theory anyway.
  5. If you increase the uGridsToLoad, in Skyrim.ini you need to also increase the uExterior Cell Buffer (for 7 grids 144 should be perfect), and the iPreloadSizeLimit, which should be =524288000 for your amount of ram, GL. I'd also recommend using iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=1800000000, although i increased mine to 4000000000, for 8GBs of ram, and ive had no problems as of yet for the last week.
  6. If you don't have the 11/11/11 exe, don't worry, use this @SkyrimNexus, I can vouch for it from my own usage at least, works perfectly as he has both the prepatch and post patch files.
  7. C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Skyrim.ini C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\SkyrimPrefs.ini Those are the two that you want to be working with, the ini's in the Steam folders are for resetting to default etc.
