  1. Oh, now it's happening with Vanilla creatures. Happened to Wisps and Fire Wyrms now!
  2. Template characters are a pain in the ass. I'm trying to get around the template character issue by recreating the NPCs without the template, however I came across this on my first attempt. I've tried deleting it and re-adding it to no luck, and my character doesn't show up in the pull down menu. Any ideas?
  3. Hopefully that title makes sense. Anyway, I want to add a variety of possible modifications to weapons and armor I'm adding to leveled lists. For example, I want to add leather armor with the Vault-Tec paintjob to the dwellers in vault 81. I made a new leather armor entry, added these- But when I add them to the NPC's outfit, nothing shows up. Later on I'd like to do the same thing with weapons. And would like as much variety as possible. For example, random scopes, mags, etc, and the Vault Tec skin. But I have no idea how to do it. Also, sorta related, I wanted to add a visible thruster to Old Rusty in vault 81 (by default he doesn't have one, or it's invisible) but I can't get that to show up either Any tips?
  4. I tested it with a simple minotaur texture mod. Disabling the mod does seem to actually remove the files, even though OBMM believes they are still there.
  5. I want to add Bonemen, Wraithmen, and Wrathmen to one leveled list. Sadly, trying to add them to a single leveled list comes up with the "This npc can't be added to the list, because it has a leveled template in it's hierarchy" notification. Is there some way to work around this? All I can think of is making a whole bunch of various leveled bonemen which will be quite the pain in the ass. Any ideas?
  6. I am using Mod Orgainzer, but mainly because it's easy to use and the profile system is great. It is also pretty useful for making my own mods. I would really rather not ditch it since I went through hell trying to use the other programs. At this point I think I should just manually delete OMOD. Then I could replace it with the newer version and try again. Hoopefully this won't repeat.
  7. (Jeez, sorry for the long wait. Got pulled away from Oblivion for a while.) Using the delete option on the mod successfully removed it, though there was a popup. Something about it still being active. Being a moron, I skipped the popup. I though it was another crashdump warning. After forcing OBM to close and reopening it, the mod was still gone. No idea if it left anything behind though.
  8. What do you mean by it? Sorry, meant Activate/Deactivate. Just tested it now- I can choose to deactivate a mod but I can't close the program. After a force shutdown and turning back on OBMM the mod is reactivated. Also, I cannot install better cities. I'm assuming that it may have to do with all these other issues but it might not.
  9. Don't know when it happened or why. I can't install or uninstall any mods, and I cannot close the program without forcing it in task manager. I learned later that I should be using a new renamed version of it. Not OBMM. Though the came currently escapes me. I use it in alongside Mod Organizer for it's OMOD installer.

  11. I can't figure out how to add a new spell effect. I want to make two new summon spells- one for a Grizzly Bear, and another for a Goblin. Going to "Magic Effects" doesn't seem to help. I have no idea how to edit it.
  12. The crash dump: I decided to add a minotaur folder in my data folder, then OBMM says its missing a clothing folder. And the Minotaur folder disappears as well, leading me back to the previous error message. Ugh. What a pain...
  13. EDIT!: Nevermind! No idea if it worked! Just loaded back up OBMM and it was still active! Seems it didn't deactivate the texture since it refuses to close... ugh... Whoo! That worked! I used the Mod Organizer one and the Minotaur textures from MO are working. Thanks a ton! Hopefully it works for meshes as well. Though, now my OBMM refuses to shut down. I just get an error message whenever I try. Thankfully Task Manager can still do it. Any ideas on that? Also I gotta try this with New Vegas! I had a similar issue there as well. EDIT: Well, that didn't work. Maybe I'll set up NMM with MO and see if it would work through there?
  14. [Edit: Meshe? damn it.] Recently started re-modding Oblivion with Mod Organizer, just today set up Oblivion Mod Manager to work alongside to install Omod files. Also got OBSE and Character Overhaul to work. However, I tried to activate a replacer texture for the Minotaur Lord. (Painted one here: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/44197/?tab=files ) But they refused to show up in-game. I have one downloaded in Mod Organizer, and a copy downloaded in OMOD. The Mod Organizer one does nothing. The OMOD one works, but it leaves files in the overwrite folder in Mod Organizer, which is just messy. If I clear the overwrite folder, neither copies work. I've made sure Automatic Archive Invalidation is active for all profiles, MO is allowed to Manage Archives, and Oblivion - Invalidation appears at the top of MO's archive list. But still, no luck. TLDR: Mesh and Texture replacers do not work in-game when installed in Mod Organizer. Any idea whats going on? Google isn't doing me any good. I also plan to use some body mods later, but that seems unlikely now. Also, dunno if this is related- but someone had an issue with their BSAs being too up to date so they wouldn't use any loose files or something? I dunno what that's supposed to mean, and I would've tried that but I have no idea how to edit the dates and I'm afraid I'll break something. All of them say: Date Modified: 6/16/2018. Except for Invalidation.bsa, which is 6/23/2018. Thank you for any help, and let me know if I need to clear anything up!
  15. I'm looking to make a near vanilla mod setup for my first playthrough. Currently I want to include patches and the official expansions/add-ons. I could probably figure out the patches myself, but I have no idea how/where/should I get the official add-ons. I remember there being some sort of bundle on the nexus, but I don't remember what it's called. I would also like to expand the draw distance, but I do not want any other graphical mods. Any suggestions for that? Any other tweaks I should also know about? Also, this isn't too important at the moment, but any idea how/if Mod Organizer works? After my first playthrough I'll probably try setting up modded character and making my own mods, which mod Organizer has been a godsend for other games due to it's profile system, and Nexus Mod Manager's profile system have been terrible in my experience.
  16. I try to avoid blocking people since sometimes even those authors could come out with really cool stuff. If it's too difficult to add categories I'm fine. It's just a dumb thing that irritates me. I don't want this to turn into a discussion about current events, but it mostly relates to Skyrim, Fallout 4, and occasionally New Vegas.
  17. Honestly, I'm sick of seeing those kind of mods. I won't name anything because I don't want to go into it, but I'd just like to get them out of my view. Anyway, just a suggestion. Otherwise I could just pretend I don't see anything.

  19. The sad Vault Boy shows up fine for me here in the forums, but not on the Nexus. The old one is this: Hmm. I'll clear my cache if I have to, but I prefer my cookies. I'll look into it real quick. EDIT: Doesn't look any different on mobile either.
  20. I changed my profile picture yesterday and I've tried fiddling with it but I can't seem to get it to work for the normal nexus site. It seems to work fine in the forums though. I hoped that giving it time would fix it, but it's been quite a while now with no changes. Any idea what's wrong? Or how to fix it?

  22. I've finally decided to do my first real Morrowind playthrough, and I'd like to know what mods to use to enhance the experience. I am mostly looking for things to fill the world, like decorations, NPCs, visuals,maybe new creatures? Also things that enhance the main story and other quests. Lore friendly stuff would also be very appreciated! Especially stuff from future/past titles (Arena, Daggrfall, Redguard, Battlespire, Travels Oblivion+DLC, Skyrim+DLC, Online+DLC, and anything else I missed). I do not want to change the game too much, so I don't really want any overhauls or new quests and stuff(Unless it's like patches or restored content) I don't care much about graphics, but I would like a mod that lets me see further. Or everything. MGE just does too much. Also, I think I remember a few mods that has the world progress as time goes on, mainly with spreading dagoth influence. Anyone remember those? Anyway, I'm looking forward to suggestions! EDIT: Oh yeah! Any suggested Mod Managers and tools? Some Leveled List patchers would be helpful too. As for Mod Managers, I would REALLY like it if I could get a working profile system(In my experience Nexus's manager is trash when it comes to this). Any idea if Mod Organizer works? It's done me wonders for Skyrim, and it's virtual folders are extremely helpful.
  23. This has been happening for quite a while now, but It hasn't really bothered me too bad until now. Receiving quest rewards often take a really long delay, often taking a minute(or a few!) just to retrieve a few coins. The same with me giving things to NPCs. However, once I got to Markarth, things began to get ridiculous. The intro scene wouldn't trigger, start, or something. I had to kill the forsworn guy myself since no one was doing anything (This actually got the quest to continue, guard tells me to leave, people freak out, weirdo gives me a note). Then, the conversation in the tradehouse wouldn't start at all. The two NPCs would just silently stare at eachother and do nothing. Same for the smith and her apprentice. Now, I'm really sick of this. Other than this, the only problem I've had is random game corruption(Or something. The game CTDs whenever i try to leave) within dungeons. It's only happened twice, and reloading a save before entering the dungeon fixes it. No High-Res Textures. Game is running at around 60fps consistently.   24. I've begun uninstalling and re-installing my mods. Do you (or anyone) know if there is a faster way to transfer the files? Some of these mods are really big downloads, and would be very time consuming. EDIT: Also, I can't drag mods into MO's downloads tab. I can put them in the long way, but it's time consuming.
