It's not at any special time but it starts after i played for a little while, it could be in the wastes or in a firefight or just taking out your pip boy. It just freezes for ca 1 second or less, and i experience massive lags.

Could it be that my fan fan can't handle the pressure?

Hello everyone! I installed fallout 3 recently on my new computer and it works fine exept for the small lags. It just seems like the game will freeze but it just keeps running (before I had to shut it down, but I followed a guide and changed a thing in the fallout.INI file), these freezes realy bother me so i'd like to figure out whats the problem. Could it be mods, or is my computer too weak? I dont realy know what information you guys need so please tell me ! My computer specs are: Intelcore i7 720 QM ATI mobility radeon HD 5850 8gb ram Thanks for the help !
