  1. Well, that just gives me the error message: "Unable to find an INI file. Please reinstall Fallout 4." I'll read through the INI's again and see if I can find any reference to my missing menu entires, then do a clean install. Thanks for trying to help, mate. Sometimes, s#*! just breaks. XD
  2. Just tried that. Apart from it re-exposing me to the fact that Fallout doesn't save its settings in my actual Documents folder (which is on my F drive), but rather on the original, system default C drive (I totally forgot this was the case) - nothing changed. The keybinds are still /gone/ from my menu. Which is... worrying. And I'd just gotten so many mods working together in harmony. Guessing it'll have to be a clean install, then, huh?
  3. So. I was trying to get Fallout 4 to cooperate with my media keys so I could run videos on my secondary monitor while playing. Just to see if Fallout was actually set up to use said media keys, I entered my controls menu, selected the first thing that caught my eye, and pressed the Play button. I blinked a few times and backed out of the menu, then re-entered it. I tried a few more times, like a true idiot. The end result is the attached picture. I have NOT tried a clean re-install of Fallout, but I HAVE looked into any and all alternatives I could think of. Do you guys have any idea how I can restore my keybinds? Currently, the removed bindings simply do not exist in my game - the mouse buttons do nothing in-game. It's a bit of a game-breaking bug, this. Thanks in advance.
  4. Okay, so I have a tiny thing going on on the site (not even a mod, per se, but some people find it useful), that I've just recently added some stuff to. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/1917/? Now, however, whenever I try to update the main file, it simply... fails to upload. The main file is inaccessible and gives me a "The file is currently being uploaded to our file servers and it will be ready to be downloaded soon."-message, even though the file in question is 42 kb and doesn't upload after HOURS. What can I do about this? P.S: sorry if this is the wrong forum; I couldn't find a specific forum for bug reporting and/or these kinds of questions. EDIT: ...and the bug reporting is a separate tab up there. Whoops. Noted for future reference.
  5. Heya all. I recently assembled a new PC, seeing as my old gaming rig was factory-made and six years old. One of the reasons for building a strong new computer was that I'd finally be able to play Skyrim... I thought. Now, the issue is... the game runs just fine... until a random moment after around three to five minutes, at which point my speakers screech out with what sounds like the first fraction of a sound effect, looped over and over and everything freezes; the sound persists, but everything else is completely unresponsive - I can't even Ctrl+Alt+Delete my way out of it, so the only way to actually do ANYTHING is the hard reset my computer. I'm not new to Bethesda games - I've gotten around huge errors in both Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, but... nothing quite as bad as this... and I've tried everything I could think of to fix it, short of reinstalling my OS. :/ My Skyrim is the Steam version and I am playing it by using the SKSE launcher. My specs: Windows 8.1 Pro N 64-bit ASRock Z75 Pro3 motherboard with a built-in Intel HD Graphics 4000 graphics card that I'm currently using (seeing as I can't afford a new graphics card right away). Intel Core i5 3570K 3.4GHz CPU 2 x 4 GB Kingston DDR3 Single-channel RAM 3TB Western Digital SATA-harddrive All my mods are installed and managed with the Nexus Mod Manager. (let me just note that even Vanilla Skyrim (tested with only Dragonborn, Dawnguard and Hearthfire enabled) still had the same fatal error) My mod list/load order: This load order was made by BOSS, and the MP.esp is a Merged Patch made in TESVEdit. I've tried reinstalling Skyrim from Steam, I've tried .ini-tweaking, I've tried verifying Steam's files, I've tried updating all my drivers (even my BIOS), as well as tons of different graphic settings and resolutions. And, of course, I've made sure that as many unecessary background processes as possible were ended before running the game. I really, really want to finally be able to play this game... does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
  6. I had the same idea, but I had deleted EVERYTHING in the Fallout folder for a clean install. What I did just a moment ago, though, was to delete everything again, then install it all over on another drive to avoid any leftovers. Now the textures are just fine. No idea why, but it worked. :/
  7. Well, I've also tried several different load orders; tried having FalloutNV.esm in different positions, also tried running the game without the preorder packs, without any DLC's at all... nothing works - same problem every time.
  8. Hey, all. Been playing New Vegas for the past few days in an effort to finally play Old World Blues and Lonesome Road... but after installing a few mods today, the game messed up big time. Textures are replaced by either bright purple colours or entirely different textures, which leaves the Mojave Wasteland a horribly depressing sight. I've tried clean reinstalls twice - launching without any mods, too - I've tried starting a new game to see if it was a simple file corruption, I've made sure to use ArchiveInvalidation... and I'm at wit's end. Somebody, please help. :wallbash: Currently, my mod list is just this: http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd337/DrFeelgood1616/ModList.jpg And still, the Nellis AFB's front gate - just to have an example - looks like this: http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd337/DrFeelgood1616/NAFB.jpg Help?
