im trying to put in my archiveinvalidation but some of the files i download comeup as mediacenter items after the download whats up with that and my archiveinvalidation is doing the same thing so i cant unzip it becuase it just comes up in windows media center do i just put the file as it is or what do i do help please

thanks everyone i forgot to check this but i figured it out as soon as i made this forum on my second entry lol i thought the files were asking to overwrite not merge and when i read that i was like oh lol. but thanks again i even got the obse up and running

ok before i do this lol so what exactly do i do just put the data file in the main bethesda folder and when its says overwrite data click yes or do i go into the data folder and then drag and drop meshes and textures and the esp file and then click overwrite if it asks to?

oh well i guess thats my problem because when it said overwrite i clicked no then i renamed all the folders to match .esp file. so ill give the overwrite a try and let you guys know what happened thanks

ok so im new to mods or whatever and i downloaded a few mods got the mod manager got the newest updates and tried everything i can do to get them to work and weapons appear as big yellow triangles with and ! inside and armor makes my characters body parts disappear how do i get the mods to work?
