You can use a pak loader such as "dide_mod.dll" (original created for dead island definitive edition by @sldayo on discord or steffen the same dude who made the save editor ) but it works equally well on dying light This will allow you to load multiple files at a time without even modifying data3.pak It works by hooking two functions One for loading paks and one for starting the game after everything is loaded Right before the engine trys to initialize the game it loads your custom paks

I know of the rpack tool you are talking about and to my knowledge there isn't a proper way to extract and repack them for dying light 1 Although you can use a tool called resorep if you need to modify the textures badly I remember someone mentioned a way to unpack and repack them with a leaked tool for a earlier game made by techland on a earlier version of the engine but it was through discord and i had never been able to find a single mention. One person on discord made a tool to extract rpack files but it's not very useful as it doesn't have any of the offsets for any of the files within the rpack.
  3. They are technically stored in the "rpack" related files although there is not a proper way to repack them You can use a tool called resorep to dump the textures from memory, then modify and load them but I personally do not.
