Ok, just to clarify what exactly do you mean by installing over the top? If I download and install the latest version from the provided link first. And then deinstall the old version, my mods and settings will still be there and will be recognized by the new version? Or do I have do deinstall the old version first and then install the new version? Or are there any additional steps I missed?
