  1. I have no idea how feasible this is, or what it would require - I've tried my hand at cosmetic mods, but I have absolutely no knowledge of the coding required for script mods. But there's something that's been bugging me the whole time I've been playing bg3 - namely, the fact you can't play matchmaker with your companions. Honestly, might just be me, I see everyone having a lot of fun with creating Tavs and Durges and making them their own characters or even self inserts, and making them get together with the existing characters... but that's just not a huge draw to me, I personally am someone who enjoys making the canon characters get together with eachother a lot more, and for that an Origin run has been a lot more fulfilling... but it still left me wanting. It doesn't feel fair that only two characters gets the romance, and everyone else stays on the wayside (at least in some cases) lamenting how lonely they are... especially when I already have my own ideas for who would make a great match for them, lol. It might be a bit too ambitious of an idea - but we already have animations and scenes for the characters romancing eachother in the origin playthroughs, right? Would it be that much of a stretch to add a mechanic where the characters can have their own dialogues with eachother, and you can make their romance scenes play out for them, too? Maybe it wouldn't follow the same conventions as your main player character, and maybe it'd have to be a lot more intentional and less spontaneous than what the MC romances end up being. But something like, clicking dialogue on a companion when you're controlling a different character from your main player, and that starting dialogue between the two of them instead of defaulting to conversation with you, and then possibly having deliberate dialogue options you can pick to trigger a romance between them? Obviously it would be limited by the lines and animations already in the game, and there wouldn't be any way to worm them into the epilogues (maybe as a written poster/a letter you can find in the reunion camp scene? But nothing the actual characters are saying), and depending on other game choices, other things might cut in the middle of that (like karlach going to avernus with wyll or the mc no matter who she ended up actually romancing, or anyway not being able to make her actual love interest be the one to follow her into Avernus). Still, it's something I've been mulling over the whole time I've been playing the game. Maybe it's just me coming from a history of playing fire emblem games, and instinctively going into a game with romance as a game mechanic with a "all right, let me match everyone into couples so everyone gets a paired ending" mindset (though I do think a system like that would have been really fun to have in bg3). Like I said - I have no idea how hard something like this would be to implement, let alone if it's possible at all (hence why this is a "mod idea" and not a request lol), it's just something I've been wondering about that would be cool if it were, indeed, possible.
