Try to make a correct order for them, download this: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=637 and make a merged patch. Download the tutorial too, you don't need whole thing but there is a part about making Merged Patches in it. Also, run FOMM in Master Update mode, also explained in that tutorial. Can't help you much besides from that. If you only use few mods, you can try disabling one, try to run the game, if it crashes, uncheck another and sooner or later you'll find the problem. But try FO3 Edit program first, it seems confusing at first but tutorial really explains everything. -

Well, try looking at this: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10167 this: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4968 and this: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=637 You can use those to resolve some compatibility problems. Try making a merged patch and running FOMM in Master Update mode after that. Try downloading latest version of this too: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=944 than disable and enable it before everything else though. It wouldn't hurt to download LATEST version of FOMM too: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=640 Just read description in links and some redmes in Files tab and you should know everything. -

from the notes on Archive Invalidadation Invalidated I'm really not sure that I understand what that means. Doesn't the first statement and the second statement contradict each other, or is the first statement just saying that you can close the program after you activate it? Also, this is the first time this has ever happened to me after many installs and on the same computer. idk, I'm really not ready to give up quite yet. It means, that yeah, you can close the program once activated. And it also means, that on some PC's that won't work and you will never be able to play mods. BUT I don't think that's the case, you have lots of mods. Try (just to test) to enable just one mod and running it. -

I've seen that. A LOT. Was real hell for me too... The problems (in my case) were mods. Try checking if you can run the game with only basic esp. Obviously turning off autosave would stop the crashes, but it will probably crash when you quicksave, anyway check this too. Some ppl said that it worked for them and that they could quicksave. Update the game, drivers, everything :) Some ppl also claimed to fix that by disabling multithreding in config file, in my case it didn't work though. -
Hey, I've got a "little" problem. I played F3 with mods a while ago, wanted to try again, found out about some amazing mods, so I Installed it. Ended up crashing to desktop :) I managed to fix that, but now I see I lack some textures. Most (additional) textures work fine, but some just are pink (like BROWN EYES in this case are all pink) and sometimes I see an exclamation point or red background. I guess that I lack some textures, and my question is: Is it possible to (through console for example) tell what was the name of the texture OR BETTER YET identify the mod it came from? So I could try to add those textures manually? Or perhaps there will be some other suggestions to solve this? In most cases it works good and rarely I have those problems, but here it is... I will be happy if anyone can at least point me in the right direction, setting up the mods I have was hard enough, reinstalling ALL would be hell for me :( I am not even sure if my load order could mess it up, but I tried to look at all guides and even copied some load orders, even when I had to turn off many of my mods (but at least i don't have ctd's). I use 1.7 version of the game. If it is something with load order, it would be cool to know it and I would be happy if someone could help with it, other than that I gave up :( I don't really like to ask for help, but that's the only thing I've got left now... Edit2: I lied. I've been messing with merged patch and master update and I got to megaton. I hate leaving things half-done. I need to play-test a little more.
