  1. I was planning on doing this myself but i haven't done any work with the CK since way back in the Oblivion days, and it is quite different from what i remember. So essentially what I was looking for and unable to find is a mod that basically allows you to equip various visual effects to your character via a ring. I was hoping for rings that add a flame effect to your character and one with electrical currents around your body. I've seen both of these in the game, i just am not sure how to give a ring an enchantment that would add these visual effects anymore. This Skyrim mod adds pretty much exactly what i am looking for. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11134/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D11134%26preview%3D&pUp=1 If somebody could create this mod, or teach me how to create this myself, I would be extremely grateful. Thanks in advance for any help I can get!
  2. You can't make anything mandatory for modders. They do not have to make mods and 99% of them aren't getting payed to do it.
  3. I believe there is a script that opens up an NPC's inventory. You could go that way if you wanted.
  4. It is possible, it would be difficult, and require someone with a scripting knowledge beyond me. but it would be doable. Elder Scrolls save files contain all of the information on a character. So you would need to write a program that could read those files and then write new ones based on what it read. it would be extremely long and difficult to write, but yeah it could work. (in theory)
  5. i believe apachii sky hair has it available for men.
  6. Uhm, that is in the vanilla game..... go equip a pickaxe and attack an ore vein. the ore doesn't fall on the ground but it is added to your inventory.
  7. Darn, took me so long to type that someone else posted something.
  8. It is possible, with a little knowledge of the Creation Kit and the use of a few Console commands. 1. To start off, load up the save of the character whose look you would like to copy. 2. Then press the ~ key and open up the console. Type "SPF your characters name" without the quotations (for Example "SPF Bob"). This will create a .NPC file in your Skyrim folder, (Bob.npc). 3. Now exit Skyrim and check your Skyrim folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\" the .npc file should be there. 4. Once you have found the file, load up the creation kit. Once in the creation kit, load the Skyrim.esm and Update.esm. 5. Once the file is loaded navigate to the Actors tab and then the Actor subcategory and right-click and create a new npc. 6. In the actor window, give your new NPC an editor ID and check the "is chargen face preset" box. Then edit the race and gender to make them match your Character. 7. Navigate to the "character gen part" tab of the window and click the import button on the top left of the window, next to the render preview. 8. Select the .npc file you created earlier and import it, check the box on the bottom that says "head" to view your imported head. (you may need to change the hair style if it is not imported as well) 9. Hit "ok" and save your mod. Enable the mod and launch the game 10. Start a new game and get to the character creation screen and select your race. Use the preset slider to find the preset of your character. Make any adjustments you need and enjoy your new character. You can now use this characters appearance whenever you would like. I hope that works for you. If not, I will try to help in any way I can. Happy Gaming.
  9. I was wondering if someone more experienced with meshes and textures would be willing to convert a hair from the Apachii sky hair mod to a version the is usable in Fallout 3 and New Vegas. I can do all the work with the geck, I just have no idea on converting the models. Any help would be greatly appreciated. the hair is in the 1-1 Male Hair pack http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/10168/?tab=2&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D10168&pUp=1 Number 17 in the screenshot http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/images/10168-1-1365903132.jpg Thanks Again
  10. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14060/? It is called Dwarven Mechanical Equipment, it has a sort of hidden blade type weapon in it, not exactly the same as in Assassin's Creed, but lore friendly. http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/images/14060-2-1333182632.png Also, if you were looking for Assassin's Creed style armor, might i suggest this mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9752/?tab=1&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D9752%26preview%3D&pUp=1 Masters of Death - Rise of the Brotherhood It adds some rather good looking armor based on Assassin's Creed Revelations, also lore friendly. http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/images/9752-4-1329686930.jpghttp://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/images/9752-1-1329687008.jpg Hope This Helped. Please remember to endorse those mods if you like them!
  11. In case anyone else ever has this problem, I figured out that i forgot to do all of the proper installation steps in FNIS which is what caused the problem. After properly installing it my game is running fine again.
  12. I was working on making a mod, so i unpacked all of the meshes and textures from the BSA using BSAopt x64. Once I unpacked the BSAs I placed them in my data folder, but then when i tried to launch skyrim, my game would CTD after the Beethesda logo, so i removed all the unpacked meshes and textures. I then reinstalled all my mods that had meshes and textures (since I deleted all of the contents of the Meshes/Textures folders). Then i launched skyrim and was able to load up my game, but in-game my character and every npc was stuck in the default T-stance and no animations would play (this didn't effect any animals, my horse's animations were fine when i rode it but my character remained in the T-Stance while on its back). I figured this was a problem with animations, so i reinstalled the animation folders from the unpacked BSAs, but then my character could no longer move and was completely stationary in his T-Stance. I have searched the internet for anyone that has had this problem before but I can't find anyone who has or anyway to fix it. So if anyone knows how to fix this or has any suggestions that might help, I would greatly appreciate it.
  13. This update completely addressed all of my dislikes about the new design. Thanks guys. P.S. Before the update I would log in everyday just to check for news and take a look at the top files and now i can easily do that again so thanks! P.S.S. Thanks again for posting the link to Good old Games so we could all get free copies of the original Fallout!
  14. There are already teams formed to work on cyrodiil. Here is one: http://travel-to-cyrodiil.forumotion.co.uk/forum And here is a website that is made to help different teams make the provinces blend together. http://nirn.wikidot.com/the-nirn-project
  15. I would like to see these weapons made as well. I would also enjoy the Treaty blade if someone wants to make it.
