Not sure if this is a mod issue or what but when ever I bash something with my bow there will be a red square or triangle block where I hit it I also tried bashing with a shield but that doesn't seem to cause it or blade weapons. It doesn't seem to happen to walls but tables and furniture anything inside of a room and it also sticks through save games. I can however leave the cell and clear the buffer that fixes it. I do think I kinda remember seeing this issue in a distant previous play-through but now I got all different mods or up to date ones. Just like to know if anyone else has seen this and what mod or bug could be possibly causing it. Other then that this has to be the most bug free play-through I've had nothing game breaking where I'm going to have to start over as of yet anyway keeping my fingers crossed as I always do would really love to be able to finish the game this time. A few of the bugs this time around are dragons acting a bit funny If they lose track of me then go try to perch back on-top of there wall they cant seem to get it right lol they'll land then take off up into the air like 10ft then try to land again and keep doing that repeatedly but once I can get them to finally realize I am there the battle goes normally. One even fell off his wall and was stuck there facing up kinda like a cat about to climb a tree. I few corpses that if I try to delete cause ctd's I don't delete standard mobs but have a mod that adds extra random encounter battles and ever since trying war-zones I been really paranoid about leaving their corpse laying about had to start over another play-through due to that mod got to the point I couldn't even farm ingredients with nobody around me without ctd every minute if a deer or bunny entered my cell. But these corpses seem to delete themselves normally after the proper time and it seems to be just certain ones for whatever reasons most I can delete manually. And a few people in whiterun no longer want to move they been standing in one spot for awhile not sure about other towns yet whiterun the only one I've been to this time but they still will talk to me and such. So so far so good hope not to see anything to much more extreme pulled enough of the hair out already to last a lifetime with this game =P

High been looking for a persuasion intimidation chance cmd like getgs or setgs fpickpocketmaxchance 0-100 fpickpocketminchance 0-100 Ive tried various things off the top of my head like fspeechcraftmaxchance or fpersuasion and persuademaxchance didn't work though I didn't really think they would but not sure where to find or how to look up these settings and took me ages of googling just to find the pickpocket one the reason why is svidi in ivarstead is annoying me I was sent to find her and cant pass her persuad or intimidate checks and shes suppose to be in the easy range below 25 according to the wiki or uesp I forget what one I read and I have 100 speech skill tried modav to bump it up to a insane amount still always fails the only thing that has worked is using the amulet of articulation but since I dont actually own it yet.... and not really wanting to give myself semi special items through console and no other fortify speech gear seems to work

yes there all updated to within the last week or at least dl'd within the last week some haven't had a new version out for a couple months however but all the main ones such as skyrim hd, smis deadly dragons etc the bigger ones always stay up to date this is just a update just happened again lol was working fine dropped everything in there went out mined like 2 ores fought a couple bandits came back after like 10 min to unload that little bit of gear and it was doing its freezing again so went back to my save luckly only a couple minutes behind this time went out mined the same ore fought the same group of bandits came back and put the stuff in the chest just fine.... this game and its glitches lol i think ill just have to make it a point to quick save like every 30 min at the minimum and just put it in the chest from wherever am at to test it from now on then reload if it works I dont want to end up with a completely fubared game just wish I could pinpoint the culprit so I could avoid it there is just to many bugs in this game as is to worry about and try to keep track of. Still a good game though

this is something I just noticed. I just recently started I new game since I haven't played for like 6 months spent a couple days updating everything plus all my mods and dl'd a ridiculous amount of new mods that have come out since I last played I'm sure the problem lies in there somewhere. Anyhow I made my way all the way to Whiterun looting and pillaging everything in sight as usual then decided to take my goods back to Hadvar's house in Riverwood to do a quick drop off and noticed that when trying to put stuff into the chest it freezes my game but I have put stuff in there several times recently with no problems. I let it sit there like 10min still nothing so finally have to ctrl alt del it. Now I don't put stuff away normally all the time sometime I use the consol the player.removeallitems ##### (chest refID) im just lazy hate putting stuff away one thing at a time after collecting that much garbage. Went back to a previous save same thing but in this save hadn't started off to whiterun yet and I dont have anything in my backpack but the clothes on my back I tried it and it still froze so im thinking a corrupted item somewhere, so I drop everything I have on the ground do a quick save and pick up one thing at a time and put it in the chest and it worked fine then took everything out of the chest back into my backpack and did the console cmd to put it all back in and it worked did it several more times even equipping various items in the process so hmm must have worked the kink out I thought grabbed my clothes out of the chest put them back on had nothing else in my bag tried it again one last time and froze... Also noticed once even with nothing in my bag including my gear I still had my iron arrows on my back so took those back out of storage equipped then unequipped them to get them off my back completely tehn deleted them thinking this might have been the issue tried again still froze.. Anyhow sorry for making this a long story I ramble way to much as I've been told on other forums even picked up a name on one of them the random rambler lol. I did pinpointed the problem something went haywire between exiting bleak falls barrow and making my way back to riverwood glad I back up my saves the one directly after I exit bleak falls still works the next save I did 20min later seems to be corrupted still lost about 4hrs worth of looting though until noticing the problem. and before you ask no my pc is a piece of garbage that shouldn't even be able to run this game on min specs heck it only has a ati hd 5450 graphics card the lowest of the low lol but until now never had a problem in fact I actually only installed the low rez versions of the mods I have when given the choice, before this play through I always installed the high rez versions and bumped my settings all up to high and never had a issue or any real fps issues but if you've seen one tree you've seen them all. ya your right probably should have posted this question there only reason I didn't is this is just the most recent glitch in a long line of glitches the last few days like one time I somehow ended up with only 20 health instead of 220 was wondering why a granny could slap me and I would die lol the werewolf power thing and just earlier walking from point A to point B I went from having 26k gold to only having 600 lol that was a easy fix though just gave it back to myself and the list goes on and on but so far since I went back a few saves the werewolf power is fine least it hasn't happened yet thanks for the help though :thumbsup:

It shouldn't be the cause unless the mod does that because i've been a werewolf before and it just greys out until the next day or until you can use it again just like any other power of shout. I'm going to try to go back to a earlier save before I realized the problem see what happens another odd thing is the time it started disappearing I gained two additional powers I have never done the quests for. This game sure does confuse me sometimes or most of the time if its not one thing its another lol.

My character is a werewolf anyways the Beast Form power keeps vanishing out of my list of powers when I use it it should just become grey but recently it just completely disappears even without using it and i got to keep manually re-adding it using console. I do have tales of lycanthropy mod installed not sure if thats the problem or not anyhow anyone have any ideas?

Forget this post If I knew how to delete it or least mark it answered I would been looking. Anyways figured it out lucky I had backed up my saves when I first became a werewolf the game glitched somehow and I only had 20 points of health instead of 220. When i first reloaded this save thought something was weird because Aela was a human and first time i did it she was a wolf the whole time so checked all my saves and been playing with like 450 stamina and 20 health lol. Guess I'm only a couple days in the rears and not starting over for a third time...

Sorry I cant answer the question don't know about the second time through Helgen not that far yet but I had a similar problem in helgen at the begining of the game as soon as I got off the cart I'd crash of freeze until I had to restart the pc sat through the wagon scene like 40 times before it finally went through to character edit then I was fine. Happened to me with and without mods but don't know.

Hello I just started playing like 2 weeks ago and have made it past the first dragon in Whiterun actually my second time had to start over some annoying glitch couldn't clear a quest or some such thing. Anyway my question is this time through I'm having a horrible time with dieing, I'm playing on master or whatever the highest difficulty is just like before and doing a rogue like before with all the same stats and skills etc. But now I die in like 1-2 hits I'm lvl 49 and have decent gear I'm a werewolf now and cant even beat a peasant in Whiterun. I can back-stab sneak-attk with bow or dagger, bow and sneak is maxed my dagger the first 5 dmg slots are full, jump on them and maul them or whatever and only do like 1/30 dmg of there total health I've literally filled people, bandits and other mobs up with like 30 ebony arrows out of my ebony legendary bow before they drop and if they punch me and I do me with fists and not weapons because I stole them lol but one hit and I die maybe sometimes I get lucky and take 2 but 90% of the time its immediate that I drop, and its always a guaranteed one hitter for me if I get tagged by a arrow. I didn't have this problem before in the slightest in fact it was the absolute opposite If I shot someone in the back while sneaking they went down or at-least took massive dmg even to a Draugr Deathlord it might take like 5-8 arrows not 30+ and if they hit me it would take several times before I fell depending on there lvl a Deathlord maybe like 3 of 4 I'd have to kite them, a peasant or guard however I'd just laugh in there face. I haven't modified any settings or anything since my first character still the same mods some texture and extra armor and hair mods nothing special. Anyhow sorry for the long drawn out question but any ideas would be appreciated TY in advance. P.S. sorry thought I was posting this in general not technical.

started playing witcher after playing part 2 had to actually like witcher 1 better personally anyhow this is my second playthrough and having a problem with the combat sword fighting im lvl 30 built the same as my first play-through but cant hit anything I cant even kill a drowner in the swamp every swing gets blocked I finally have to resort to cheating just to fight a drowner or anything for that matter I have the latest 1.5 patch of course. Never had this problem first play-through actually I did but it would work itself out after a minute or two this time its lasted over a day reboots dont work nothing does seems to be permanent. Any help or comments on this would be appreciated TY in advance. A couple other Bugs I've noticed this play-through but aren't as annoying as the combat one A life bug least I think its a bug is if I save even with full life If I reload that save Ill only have 2/3 of my life and it wont refill over time I have to meditate in order to fill it after that then if I'm wounded it will refill normally Another bug I just noticed not a bad one but odd is I went to the druids to play the Hiero guy dice I decided to talk to Moreen anyways she asked for more wolf pelts so I gave them to her thinking maybe I forgot to do that in Chapter 2 which I didn't because I had the log then after that I talked again and she asked for more wolf pelts I can just keep giving her pelts and learning where little dryads come from to my hearts content lol.
