  1. Thank you very much for your help everyone! I do have all the Unofficial Patches and I use Nexus Mod Manager. Just now I deleteled most dirty edits that Loot had found although I feel very apprehensive about the results. As for using Loot for managing my load order, I don't do that. When I first tried that, the suggested order was very much different from what the authors of the mods recommended so I gave up on Loot and tried to set the load order manually following the instructions of the mod authors. I realise that my load order is probably a huge mess since I don't have enough knowledge to manage it myself. And now that I've rewatched Gopher's tutorial on Loot I feel like it's a good idea to use it after all. But is it safe to change the load order in the middle of playthrough? Also, I know it's a no-no to delete something mid-game, so I never do that. But I have installed half of the mods I'm using now in the middle of my current game, and also refreshed Bashed patch and repatched ASIS multiple times. Is it safe to do that? Could this cause any issues? Or should I choose all the mods I want right from the beginning and stick to that?
  2. Hi, guys! I discovered Skyrim modding only a couple of months ago, and I swear I still can't believe what a wonderful game Skyrim has become thanks to this fantastic community. But since I'm new to this I keep messing things up and of course my Skyrim is pretty unstable. So I have a question concerning body replacers. Since my game is already rather CTD-prone, I'm not keen on adding too much to my load order and would rather avoid using UNP or CBBE or whatever for fear of completely ruining my game. But unfortunately some of the best armor sets on Nexus seem to be made specifically for body replacers. Do I absolutely have to install a body replacer to use such armor? Or will it still work with the vanilla body but with some issues? Also, what if a certain NPC is made for a specific body replacer? Will it also require UNP or CBBE installed to work properly? I noticed that the creators do not mention this in the requirements section. Does that mean that I can safely download and install that particular NPC without bothering with a body replacer? I would be very grateful if someone clarified this for me. There is so much to learn to make modded Skyrim work properly, it's insane! But there is no going back to vanilla after discovering mods, no matter how confusing it gets sometimes.
