  1. So...as with most of my posts let me start off by saying- I'm a writer and know NOTHING about modding, and I'll never pretend to. I'd like to post up another idea I had that could make for a really awesome mod in Skyrim; these ideas I post are because I'd LOVE to play them, and are up for anyone to steal, I ain't greedy! So what if, after all we've seen of the assassins guild and thieves guild, you could actually start your own guild? Here's all the things I think would be convenient and awesome about it. 1. All your followers would go to guild headquarters; so when you go there you'll see and be able to talk to them all. 1A. Followers and yourself could even have assigned guild armors! Team jerseys if you will. 1B. Said headquarters could exist in a major city, via secret door through a rock or behind a bookshelf in a house, or even in a big ol building outside of a major city. Either way, if possible I think the player should get to pick out of maybe, three choice cities and locations. 2. Player should actually have to go out and 'gather' guild members; not just followers but also have fun little missions to get people in. 3. In a BIG Quest, this would be the quest that the player does to start the guild, the player could operate through a city or something to decide what this guild would stand for; is it a guild to protect one central place, it is a secret order of monster hunters, are they thieves of good fortune taking over the coastal area, are they a faction of fighters, or heck- do they work to take over the king! 4. This guild could provide lots of side jobs and ways of making money, bringing in some interesting npcs, followers, roleplay choices and development, a home, and maybe even make changes to Skyrim 4A. By changes to Skyrim, I mean- look at what happens after you finish the war with Imperials and Stormcloaks, subtle, but there's way more of one soldier/guard type depending on who wins. Maybe after your guild takes over, you get well known for it OR some of your followers become guards. If anyone is really skilled at modding and likes this idea, please talk to me I've got a lot of ideas on this and would love to play it through :)
  2. Right? I mean the best part of that quest was the choice dialog AND the multiple ways of doing the mission. There really should be more mod missions where there is more choice on how to go about quests AND fun dialog/action options to make your character more...of a character. I say this, but I really don't mean to insult any modders, I know nothing about how difficult it is to do all this haha. But how cool would it be if you could make big choices that changed the way some npcs looked or spoke to you, or the way you looked even! ...I'm getting out of topic I know :p but still.
  3. That's a fantastic idea! I bet you anything people would love to play that quest! I really love the WhoDunIt quest and that you have to creatively murder someone, but what I REALLY like about your quest is that any class can do it and it doesn't make their character a killer, it puts the player in a situation where they can use some fun interactive roleplay, AND- from what it sounds like- it'll give some clever play to actually THINK in the game and get some giggles...that shout needs to be a thing btw XD It's power could instantly summon snakes!
  4. Hey all! I'm new to the Nexus and have only just started adding mods into Skyrim. After playing the game and Oblivion for years now, I have a request- just one! Someone...please...for the love of Talos...make a quest similar to WhoDunIt from Oblivion's assassins guild. If I knew how to create mods I'd totally make an attempt, but I have accepted my fate long ago as a man who's bad with tech. SO- if anyone wants to create said mod; here's some ideas that I just want to put out there for anyone to take, and make whatever they'd like with it. Any other ideas? Please throw out there, I'd really love to get something going towards this! 1. Simply recreate the mod as it was: A questline where the player is asked to attend a dinner party and assassinate each member, given the option of making each murder look like it could be someone else; this would of course give a fun way to play out speech dialog and sneak. 2. Maybe make it similar to the movie Clue! In that there could be more information on the guests; things you could overhear, pickpocket, or gather by talking to them. Getting dirt on them to aid you in framing others, or better yet, turning them to kill someone there. 3. WHAT IF, it was a very similar idea as the WhoDunIt quest, except in this quest- you aren't the killer. Someone in the party is killing others off, and you're locked inside this mansion with all of these strangers. This idea could make it so the player doesn't even have to be an assassin- or get this quest from the guild even. There could be a letter given to him-or her- by a mysterious stranger, giving the location and such; this party could make the player just as in danger as the NPCs, and if you survive, who you save can become a follower! 4. Same as original quest, with added creative kills. So at this party, maybe there's just flat out NO weapons to be found, so you need to use the environment to do it. My thoughts was if anyone has ever played the board game 13 Dead End Drive; similar to the movie House on Haunted Hill, whoever is left alive at the end of the night gets money, or a prize whatever; but so each person is trying to stealthilly kill one another via the fireplace, stairs, dropping a lions head plaque on someone, poison, etc. That's all I've got for now, but please post if you have any ideas and/or are able to make a mod like this!
