  1. While exploring, music is great but rarely plays. Is there a mod to increase music play frequency, similar in concept to the banter increase mods?
  2. OK, thanks. I will use DAMM. Is still doesn't address my problem with the interface mod. It seems do have a DAZIP which I installed and an optional config utility, which I ran but didn't change anything. One thing I noticed is that even though I have the Steam release, I can use the CD Keys provided by Steam to unlock the EA Origin service version. I will try that one with a fresh install.
  3. DAModder and NMM latest versions. Running as administrator. They claim the interface mod is installed correctly, but in-game nothing changes. I also cannot access the configurations of the mod. Steam version of Ultimate edition. Windows 10. What am I missing? EDIT: Using other Mod manager utilities I got the UI mod to appear in the in-game mod list, but still it doesn't do the job.
  4. That ANNOYING and LOUD sound when using a mass effect relay. I know there is a mod, but it didn't work for me and I already finished my install with ALOT and don't want to mess up my game. Origin installation. I read it is possible to remove or replace: Wwise_MassRelay_Cineanim.afc But this doesn't work for some reason? The same sound still plays.
  5. I am wanting to replay DAI but the thing that annoys me is that I have to always use the stupid search/ping feature to highlight clickable objects. Is there some way around this (aside from the perk that increases the ping range)? So that clickable objects are always highlighted?
  6. Hi, In the base game there were the "thoughtful gifts" as part of the Feastday Prank DLC that raised any party member's approval by a large amount. However, I cannot seem to add these items to my inventory via the console "additem" command in the expansion pack. Is there a similar item or command in Awakening? Thanks.
  7. I found an easy way to move my Dragon Age installation to my secondary, solid-state hard drive! This methods keeps all settings and mods intact! Instructions (Windows Vista, 7, and 8 only) This assumes that the directory on drive “C” is the one that Dragon Age was originally installed to (the “original” folders), and the installation will be moved to drive “E” (the “final” folders). Keep in mind that your original Dragon Age installation paths may be different! You can modify both the original as well as the final file directory. It may be worth creating backups of your original folders just in case! Move folder C:\program files (x86)\Dragon Age to e:\ Delete C:\program files (x86)\Dragon Age\ Move folder C:\Users\username\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age to a new folder you manually create e:\dragon age user data Delete C:\Users\username\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Click the Start button, type cmd and run cmd.exe as an ADMINISTRATOR Type mklink /j "C:\program files (x86)\Dragon Age\" "e:\dragon age" mklink /j "C:\Users\username\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age" "e:\dragon age user data\dragon age" Note that this file movement method is still reliant on having access to the registry entries of the original drive C. If you ever want to install Dragon Age onto a completely new computer, while still allowing access to all your settings and mods, I am guessing the following should work: Install Dragon Age with the regular installer onto the new computer (to create relevant registry entries) Patch the game Delete the following folders: C:\program files (x86)\Dragon Age C:\Users\username\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Connect the solid state drive to the computer Run the CMD prompts noted earlier
  8. I think the problem is that I have installed a lot of texture packs and it is more than the game engine can handle. If I restart the game occasionally it is fine again.
  9. Windows 7 64-bit 6 GB system RAM Geforce 770 4 GB nvidia driver: 332.21 WHQL Intel i7 @ 3.8 GHz
  10. Yes, the tool you posted indicates my .exe was patched properly. Has anyone been able to achieve a higher RAM usage of Dragon Age, or prevented the slowdown and stuttering after playing for a while with texture mods?
  11. Since I have a lot of mods installed I run into this problem where the game slows to a crawl and stutters a lot after some time playing. I notice that this happens when the RAM usage increases to ca. 1500-1700 MB. I also notice that the RAM never increases above this and eventually the game becomes unplayable. I have 6 GB of system RAM and 4 GB of graphics card RAM. I have tried numerous EXE fixes (that should allow the app to be able to handle > 2 GB of RAM) but this hasn't helped. Are there any fixes for this?
  12. I want to move the Dragon Age installation, including all settings, DLCs, and mods, to a secondary solid state hard drive. How do I do this? Thanks lots.
  13. Hello, I have noticed in this game that sometimes there are graphical glitches - flickering white and black spots that appear on textures. Deleting my 'data' meshes and textures folders and only installing NCM texture pack, WRP weapon retexture mod and NV redesigned 2 eliminated some of this, but it still remains, especially on characters. Geforce 470 (latest drivers) What could be causing this? Anybody else have the same problem? Thanks.
  14. I have this problem where if I run Fallout3.exe I have no Anti-Aliasing, no Anisotropic Filtering, no V-Sync. If i change my exe file name to Fallout3blah.exe, I have all the above. Anyone know why? I can not even select Fallout3.exe in the Application override section of the nVidia control panel for some reason. And if I don't use Fallout3.exe I can't run FOSE applications. Another weird issue is that I occassionally see white or green squares and circles on screen. My card is running cool and I have no issues in other games. I have installed F3, the 5 DLCs, the NMC texture pack, and the unofficial Fallout 3 patch. Thanks.
  15. deleted fallout3.ini. I still have the problem.
  16. Hi, my game crashes in the Gauntlet (after New Haven). I remove my inventory in the 4th trial, move through the fire, get my inventory back...then the game starts running real slow and I get spammed with a message telling me I have new items in my inventory over and over. When I try to leave the area the game freezes on the load screen. 1.03 version Windows 7 64-bit Geforce 470 (latest drivers) i-7 core 930 4 GB ram
  17. Hi, my game worked for a long time but now it crashes every time I load any save game OR even when I start a new game (i.e. not save related). I tried reinstalling from scratch (uninstall proper, delete Fallout 3 folder remaining files, reinstall) but no luck! Windows 7 64-bit Geforce 470 (latest drivers) Intel i-7 930 4 GB Ram Any suggestions?
  18. New to Dragon Age Origins When I click the right mouse button to look around and move the mouse only a little bit I do not look around, and only when I move it a medium distance can I look around. It's like there is a small deadzone to the mouse look by default. Why is that and is there a mod to fix this?
