  1. Winterfell would be easy enough, you wouldn't even need to create new assets. Some of the other locations could be trickier, though. But if you start there and at the Wall, the Vale, etc all the snowier areas where you shouldn't have to make new textures or anything, it should give you a good framework to recruit more help and really get the project going. The project has a larger chance of succeeding if you break it down into smaller more manageable projects so its not overwhelming. I wouldn't worry about anything outside ofThe North to begin with. I'd have to see the extent of the construction kit before agreeing to help with anything, but I do have extensive 3d modeling and texturing experience.
  2. I don't think you can legally remake the entire game in this engine. If you wanted to make Morrowind itself but not use any direct assets from Morrowind, and make a new story set there, you should be in the clear. And that would be far more interesting anyhow and allow for more creative freedom. But yeah, just taking Morrowind's script directly and applying it here probably isn't legal and just isn't as interesting as making Morrowind and doing something new there.
  3. I posted an eerily similar idea days ago.
  4. Less for the sake of morbidity and more to make the world seem rough and unrelenting out in the elements. I think it would b interesting if, instead of dissapearing, after a couple of days a humanoid body resembles something like a druagr's body. After a week, maybe it looks like a skeleton. If a carnivore like a wolf or bear or cat come across it, maybe they drag it away or just enter some kind of "eating" animation, which would be an interesting way to come across a wild animal. I think this could be cool and it really wouldn't require any new assets, just re-purposing of existing ones. Just imagine on the pathway to a Foresworn stronghold you found the half decayed remains of an Imperial (still in uniform) that happened to get too close a couple days prior, and 2 or 3 wolves feeding on the body. It could be an interesting agent of immersion, yes? edit Sorry I put this in the wrong section. I meant for this to be in mod requests.
  5. Similiar to the Mart mod from other Bethesda games, where likeminded groups would group together and clash with other groups, etc. on their own whether you're around or not. But with the twist that they can take over towns. The icons on the map would change color, perhaps, based on the faction that's running it (Imperial, Stormcloak, Foresworn, etc.) It could even get more complex than that, in that soldiers can submit and be taken prisoner by the other factions. It wouldn't just be towns, either. Forts, towers, etc. Anything of strategic significance. And each faction would be willing to do certain things. Foresworn take no prisoners, for example, and are willing to raid anything including orc camps. Where Imperials are trying to win hearts and minds so they take prisoners. etc. (which you could free). And each town, fort, tower, etc, would represent a spawn point of a certain level. So take over a village, you get a small spawn bonus that creates new soldier. A fort gives a larger bonus. Main strongholds, obviously, would give the highest spawn point and therefore be basically impossible for opposition to capture without you assisting in the raid. So based on random things, like what fort you did or didn't clear and when, would be a factor in who gets the upper hand. Every game would be different. I'm sure this is complicated as all hell and maybe impossible, I just think it would be a cool thing to make it feel like you're really in the middle of a constant conflict, which it doesn't feel like in the world as is. It could certainly break a few quests, but maybe forts inhabited by bandits or other quest targets or whatever only become targets for factions after they've been cleared. I think it'd be more interesting, though, if factions could move in and take your bounty if you don't act quickly enough. Idunno. Just an idea. If nothing else, I think the core of the idea, having factions spawn small armies on their own from control points and intelligently fight it out is probably doable.
