  1. So I found the solution for anyone in the future reading this. I was redirected from another forum to /r/skyrimmods and the top comment resolved the issue. https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimmods/comments/dasx9e/pop_up_asks_to_open_nxm_link_proxy/ Edit - Resolution if you need it here: Create a new text file called `enable_nxm.reg` (be sure that it is NOT enable_nxm.reg.txt). Edit the file with Notepad or other text editor of choice. Copy the text below and paste into the editor. Save and exit the file. Double click the file and then click Yes on the warning. Restart Chrome and you should not see the pop up again. Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Google\Chrome\URLWhitelist] "1"="nxm://*"
  2. Yep, there is a button that does the same thing. I clicked it and restarted Chrome + MO2 but no dice. =/
  3. Chrome I'm guessing now it's my mod manager that doesn't support this? I am using Mod Organizer 2 instead of Vortex.
  4. My question - Is it possible to remove the browser pop-up that says "Open NXM Link Proxy?" every time you're installing mods using a mod manager? It's a little annoying so removing it would be nice. Picture if you're not sure what I mean:
  5. Sorry for rekindling an old flame, but this post here helped me immensely. Thanks for your step-by-step tutorial. =)
  6. Did you just delete mods while they're ticked in your mod manager without following proper uninstall procedures? That'll likely do it.
  7. Yeah, that's what I gathered when stumbling upon it. Been trying to look for a mod that might remove the door. Not having any luck so far. Started a new test character to see if the door's meant to be there. Looks like it has to do with Alternate Start screwing up and not completing the Unbound quest. I'm able to tell because Lokir's still alive.
  8. Hello, When I was traveling to Helgen, an issue that I ran into is not being able to open the door so I can enter Helgen. Here's a picture of what I mean: Does anyone one else have this issue or know what I could do to fix it? I'm already 50 hours into my game and don't want to restart (if it can be avoided). My load order is: SKSE SkyUI Better Dialog Controls Better MessageBox Controls Tetrochromatic ENB (and ENB binary) Race Menu Auto Unequip Arrows Alternate Start - Live Another Life Verdant grass Noble Skyrim 2K Pure Skin Texture Edit: Other info that might help: File path: C:\program files(x86)\steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim Game version: 1.9.32 Legendary Edition Mod Organizer 1.3.11 SKSE 1.7.3 TES5Edit Specs: i5-6500 GTX 1070 16GB DDR5 500GB SSD
  9. Hello! I do realize it is near the end of the year, although I have not been on my PC in quite some time (for gaming purposes). Going to pick up Skyrim modding again simply for the nostalgia! I very much appreciate you sending over this URL to me, and will be using this tool for my upcoming modding endeavor. Regards, SPS
  10. Well, you are trying to use an ORIGINAL Skyrim mod with the NEW Skyrim Special Edition. If the mod author never ported it to Skyrim SE then it is likely to have errors. Maybe the helmet has a file or the like that isn't compatible.
  11. It vanishes from the map, and when I walk to the location and try to enter the city, the game crashes. Most of the mods I'm using I have used before, and I can't think of anything that would influence Whiterun like that. Eh, I don't know what else to say. Maybe try unchecking mods one by one, seeing if you can pinpoint the mod that cause the issue. If you still can't find it, I'm afraid that you'll have to reinstall all your mods.
  12. Yup. If I reload any of the affected saves, Whiterun is still gone. If I start a new game, Whiterun appears on the map but vanishes after activating all the Sound of Skyrim options. I'm going to try and see if for some ungodly reason the SoS mods are the problem, but I doubt it. Edit: Nope. The issue still persists. Immediately upon starting a new game Whiterun exists, but after a few seconds it vanishes. This is a tough call. So Whiterun completely disappears leaving only the land it stood on?
  13. Done. LOOT and TES5Edit turned up no errors. Okay. Load your game and see if the issue persists.
  14. After you've done what I stated above, right click the highlighted "overwrite" text at the bottom of your load order and create a new mod. Name it as "update" and activate it. Please install the compatibility patches because it could be the reason why Whiterun is missing. After you've done all of those steps run LOOT again and TES5Edit to make sure there aren't any errors.
  15. You mean the yield icons in ModOrganizer? Those are just warning me that a mod is out of date, which I don't fully understand since most of them actually aren't but whatever :/ Just ran LOOT, came back with 11 dirty plugins and 13 warnings. How do I use TES5Edit to fix these? 1. When I say the yield icon, I am referring to the triangle with the "!" in the center on the corner of Mod Organizer. Is it glowing like this?: http://i.imgur.com/JPAasgL.png 2. Besides the 11 dirty plugins in LOOT, what are the remaining 2 warnings about? 3. Here is how to install TES5EDIT and how to fix: Installing TES5Edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3FZ4bMTWgQ Cleaning dirty plugins (ITM records):
  16. Okay, a few questions: 1. Do you see a "1"* beside the yield icon? If you do, what does it say? 2. Do you use LOOT? Any dirty plugins? 3. Do you use TES5Edit? Does it give you any warnings?
  17. After creating a new MO profile, is it necessary to run FNIS again even if all your mods are automatically disabled?
  18. Hi, sorry for replying late. Thank you for your detailed and informative response. I suppose I'll have to buy an SSD in the future and use Steam Mover to transfer my modded Skyrim.
  19. I have quite a bit of graphical mods installed, so you could imagine that not having an SSD could cause slower load times. I'm wondering if using Wyre Bash will help decrease my loading times, especially when going from indoors to outdoors.
  20. Here's what I am trying to achieve: So far I've shrunk a partition and created an X:/ drive. My next step is to install Skyrim directly into the X:/ drive without having it go through the Steam file tree. Does anyone know how to accomplish this? Thanks in advance.
  21. (r was the last letter of the title) I don't want to change my download destination entirely, just a mod's destination when selecting the "download manually" option on the Nexus Mod Manager website. I'd imagine there's some tool out there that'll let me do this, although I'm not sure what to look for... =/ The reason why I am asking this is because I have a "My Mods" folder that I want to use for every mod instead of cluttering up my downloads folder, but I don't want to have to keep dragging all the mods every time I download a new batch.
