I actually did flip normals. If I don't, the helm looks just black. No texture at all. but what is face normals? and I'm not really familiar with normal map so i don't know much things about it but i know it adds details so I didn't think it's necessary. Would having normal map fix the "square and triangles" problem? And also, how do I find the page or window where i can change shader properties? Im using 3ds max 2012 -

well in nifskope, the mesh with the texture looks pretty dark because there is no light so its not so noticeable BUT with no texture on it, with just plain white color, its noticeable so yea it looks like the pictures in nifskope -

Is this happening because i didn't include normal maps? I already have tried 3ds max's turbosmooth, smoothgroups, weld(welding vertexes), and "connect" function(more vertexes or edges = high polygon?) and apparently they are not working. Is there anyway to solve this problem? or would removing the glossiness solve this problem? if yes, how do I do it? Thank you so much for your time

Just replace the bs lightning block of export with another takenfrom a working nif and replace the textures , then remove the branch of the unused lightning properties ... i don't get what is that you are doing for steps #2 and #3. Could you upload a picture or more description? How do you do those steps? And the step #3? How do you attach an alpha property spell.....? Anyway, this is what is happening to me http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/5648/tesv2012011309505770.png everything looks great in nifskope as well as textures after I exported the helm mesh from 3ds max 9. I followed the direction except for the attaching alpha property spell, but in game, the character's face is gone and nothing above it is appearing;; Any solution to this problem? This problem is solved.!!!!! My newly made helm appears in game but the character's face is still gone. Is there any way to solve this problem?

i don't get what is that you are doing for steps #2 and #3. Could you upload a picture or more description? How do you do those steps?

Because there is no Creation Kit for now, I tried to make my newly meshed helm to appear in skyrim by replacing No Helmet Mod's daedric helmet which is in the data\mesh\armor\daedric folder so that I can get my new helm by typing player.additem "daedric helm's id". So I exported my new mesh with BSdismember, from 3ds max into nif using the export/importer and loaded it with nifskope. it looks completely fine in the nifskope with textures showing properly but in game, the mesh is not appearing but the texture is. Thank you for your help

**Site Not Allowed** there are links to some videos that show its mod. The animations look pretty amazing. This seems like an addon mod to Deadly Reflex 5 but i don't know if I need to activate both regular "deadly reflex5-combat moves.esp" and the addon's "deadly reflex5 - _-_ - combat moves.esp" or whatever? Or activate just the addon? Thank you in advance

i have no blendsettings.ini in My Games folder

yes i know it should be in the "my documents/ my games/ oblivion" folder which has oblivion.ini file. But apparently it's not there. Is it really created by a mod? -
i reinstalled Oblivion today and i have no blendsettings.ini in My Games folder. But I checked my old My Games folder which I saved onto my USB external storage (the reason i kept it was to keep my old save files), and there is blendsettings.ini in My Games folder. So i thought blendsettings.ini is supposed to be there but i don't see it. Does the game still work without it? How do I get the blendsettings.ini file? Does it respawn when i play the game? Thank you in advance

I really enjoyed your Tifa CM Partner Mod for Oblivion. Tifa looks awesome!! But i think she would look much better in the background settings of Fallout 3 because it's the future setting. So is there any way to play the Tifa partner mod in Fallout 3 ? or switching the Oblivion mod to Fallout mod? Thank you in advance
