  1. I donated several years ago to make Nexus ad-free. I always have adblock on, anyway, but the one-time donation for a lifetime ad-free was more than worth the price. That was long before I ever thought I would ever create a mod. But it's good to see that real mod authors, whose work already contributes to the Nexus far more than a few dollars, won't have to dip into their wallets to enjoy that same privilege.
  2. Essentially, I want to move the stones of Barenziah. I hate the fact that two of the stones require you to initiate quests that are not related to the Theives Guild. And I thought, while I'm at it, it might be fun to share a mod that moves all 24 to new locations, potentially incorporating locations added by Dawnguard and Dragonborn. Part of the issue arises when I look at the gem in the Blue Palace (just for an easy example). There are three items listed in the CS: TGCrown06Go, TGCrownGemAct06, and TGCrownValueItem. My guess is that I need to delete all three of these in order to "move" the stone. Let's say I do that. The TGCrownValueItem in Blue Palace is 00103376, but the generic TGCrownValueItem is 00103370. To make matters worse, though, there is no TGCrownValueItem in Proudspire; only TGCrown07Go and TGCrownGemAct07. So, should I be left to believe that TGCrownGemActxx is the item I need? But that is not an option when I attempt to add a gem to an actor's inventory (it only makes sense to have to pickpocket at least one of these suckers), only TGCrownValueItem shows up. So, is it enough to collect 24 instances of TGCrownValueItem, or do I need the 24 instances of TGCrownGemActxx? If you can just get me started on that much, I am hoping I can have this modding thing figured out. Thanks for any help you can offer.
  3. I never had the issue of clicking back from the mod page and being brought back to the search page; I always just went back to the search results. Of course, that was only when I forgot to open the mod page in a new tab (which is just more convenient, anyway). I will, however, miss only having to click back once to return to my tracked mods page after looking at the mod's discussion board. Not a big deal; I'll just learn to open the mod pages from the tracked mods page in a new tab. My primary disappointment with the new layout has been with the search page. I loved the old advanced search page, which made it extremely easy to find what I was looking for. With the current search page, I might get 40+ pages of results for a search that used to return 1-2 pages. "Ain't nobody got time for that!" Maybe I'm missing something much grander here, but was the old advanced search page broken? If not, please bring it back.
  4. In the past 3 years, I have avoided 7 viruses from 5 sites (that I know of) simply for having AdBlock active. I am not happy about the fact that this means that I have not been able to help with funding the websites I use and love, but if my computer gets a virus from an ad, it'll cost me much more than my having viewed ads would have benefited the site. That said, I'll be looking forward to the £1 contribution being set up, because I do want to be able to contribute to the Nexus.
