  1. There are also quite a few mods that clean out "useless" objects such as trash piles, dirt and grime decals, some bushes and the like. I don't use them, so I don't know how much of an impact it would have on performance, but you could give it a try. That's assuming the game will even want to launch, I've had instances (on another computer) of games that won't launch if the hardware requirement aren't met.
  2. Sweet, I can't wait! I just visited Disneyland for the first time and I'm obsessed with amusement parks, so the timing is perfect :P
  3. I'm editing the faces of some NPCs and changing their eyebrows is proving to be arduous. Sometimes a pair of eyebrows that doesn't appear in the face part list is visible on their face. Sometimes I'll pick a new eyebrow set and the opacity slider is greyed out. Sometimes I try to delete a set of eyebrows, right-click>delete, and nothing happens. Sometimes I select the eyebrows, save my changes, and when I open the actor window back up they've just disappeared. I am quite puzzled.
  4. May I suggest the CROSS Institute Tech Mask? It's elegant and highly customizable.
  5. Yeah, they are. I don't know how to use roombounds, but checking no pre vis did the trick, thanks!
  6. Oh, I see. I don't think you can do that with FO4, because so much stuff, including CC presets, are embedded into the race record. The current easiest ways to make your CC presets available are using Face Ripper to rip your character's face from your save onto an override of the current preset NPCs (conveniently named presetfemale1>20 and presetmale1>20), or make presets for LooksMenu.
  7. I'm having trouble with some statics flickering in and out of existence, some I placed myself and some that were already there. I have no other mods than mine editing those particular cells. They still appear to have collision, even when I can't see them. How do I fix that? The State House has no walls anymore, I obviously can't release the mod as is.
  8. I believe Face Ripper copies the body weight as well. I'm not sure what you mean when you say "create an NPC", I didn't mod Skyrim, but if you did that wouldn't that NPC only exist in your save file, with no way to copy it to an esp except with Face Ripper?
  9. The presets that are available are simple npcs, you can easily change their appearance by copying their records to an esp and using face ripper to rip from a save to your esp. Adding new presets would require editing the race records, which I would advise against because it would cause compatibility issues. I haven't used the CK in a while, but if they fixed the face editor in there you can also use that to edit those preset npcs.
  10. Of what exactly? Most spawns work with levelled lists, and each actor has I believe the same chance to appear, so to have more of one gender spawn you can simply have more actors of that gender in the list.
  11. No, one that you activate with E, but instead of having a model it's just an invisible box. I'm talking about a workbench like the weapons workbench by the way, not a workshop, maybe that wasn't super clear.
  12. I saw that some of Elianora's houses for example use an invisible box to mark out the activable area of a custom workbench, how would I set that up?
  13. You could also use destruction states to achieve this, rather than a script!
  14. Have you considered that he might be passionate about what he's doing? Not everyone thinks money is more important than doing what you love.Living off of something you love, but with not a lot of money to spare, sounds better than making slightly more money at a job you hate. edit: grammar
  15. There are no working tools to rip a settlement to a plugin. I'm afraid you'll have to rebuild it in the Creation Kit if you want to share it as a mod.
  16. I think you largely overestimate how much money the Nexus makes. Afaik, the ad revenue is just barely enough to support the server fees and the livelihood of the people who work on it full-time. Most of the "employees" of the Nexus are volunteers, and aren't paid a dime for their hard work.
  17. There's probably someone working on it on Lover's Lab, although it'll probably also give you a giant wiener.
  18. Open the plugin of the armor in FO4Edit and change the armor slots manually. It's not ideal but hey, it works.
  19. Good news: there is! On the top right of the nexus page, click "(your username)'s account", then "block content" in the drop-down. There, select what you want to block (Sexy/Skimpy, Nudity, NSFW, etc.) and click save. Files tagged with these should no longer appear during normal browsing!
  20. You don't need to install it, just download it and drop the esp in your Data folder without activating it.
  21. They're not exactly easy to make, I'm guessing that's why.
  22. Right-click on the name of the plugin, and click "clean masters". This removes any masters that aren't used in the plugin. When you load up the plugin you want to clean, it should automatically load all its masters. Check the load order number of SK (should be 01 iirc), then open the constructible objects entries of your plugin. Any reference to an editor ID that starts with the load order # of SK (01xxxxxx) should be replaced. Find a constructible object in the base game that goes into the menu you want, and use the same keywords as that.
