  1. I have a little problem with FNVEdit. After fixing the helmet i just added i try to load the game but keeps loading (the roulette keeps moving, tips keeps displaying but nothing much ever happens) A little help?
  2. The path is C:\program files (x86)\Bethesda softworks\Fallout New Vegas. The GECK is in that folder too. Edit: Ok, it´s the helmet. I deleted it and the mod works fine. It stops working after correcting the helmet with the FNVEdit, it´s the 3_0_21 edition. I tried with the 3_0_19 edition and the problem remains. Anyone?
  3. Hi, i´m currently trying to import a custom armor into FONV but there´s something wrong with it. First, my helmet was on a side (but i already solved that problem with the sticky about imported hats. But after that everything seemed to work just fine but after the first load, FOMM won´t keep my mod loaded, i have to click on it every time i play. And there are sometimes i have to delete the mod and import the armor again because the game keeps loading on and on (you know, the roulette keeps spinning but nothing really happends) If anyone knows what could i be doing wrong please tell me. Thanks and C-Ya.

  5. That`s it! I give up! When i load the mod for the first time it works fine, but then the wierd animations return and i even can`t acces the pipboy anymore! I even tryed to use key the suit so i could remove it if anything went wrong and it didn`t worked, i kept pressing 3 (the number i assign the suit) and nothing happened. So now i think i`ll give up with this. Maybe one day i`ll give it another try but seriusly, i`m done with it:
  6. Maybe a posible way is to make a hole new set of weapons (both melee and ranged) that trigger the dual wield animation. In that way, you wouldn`t have the different ammo problem, though you could not use, say a 10mm gun and a .32 revolver at the same time. Same would happend with melle weapons, making a set of dual wield chinnese swords or police batons or whatever. Besides doing a hole new group would also leave the vanilla guns alone It would totally be eye candy but until a better solution is found, i gotta say i don`t care, i would like that anyway. The animations shouldn`t be a problem, you should only increase the attack speed to compensate the other weapon, but appart from that it shouldn`t be any different than the one hand attack, in fact, the game would "think" you are just using a very fast one handed weapon. Of course, making the new animations will require some skill, but let`s face it, if people can make dancing animations this should be easy. To all those who think it wolud not fit with the game aesthetics: please, there are mods adding things like a Batman suit or even super powers. If you think this is the mod that would break the lore i`m sorry to tell you but that ship has sailed... long ago. Evilneko: Actually it`s better to bring back old threads than creating lots of new ones about the same, don`t you agree?
  7. Well, i finally added all the pieces but somehow, i... well, i screw it! As you can see in the picture bellow, it totally messed with the skeleton.   8. Well, it did, until i got to the part where i had to apply the textures to the armor. The chinese stealth armor`s arms don`t have a BSShaderPPLightingProperty node. Could this be because they are the only mesh part that i modified? The arms and body where together, so i erased the rest of the body. Edit: I went back to blender and replace the material. Now it`s back to normal. Is there a special way to do this with helmets? because when i try this in Nifscope it dispaly an error message "failed to map parent link NiNode/Scene Root". Any idea? By the way, in G.E.C.K. if i want to add the gloves, it`s the "biped model list" tag, right?
  9. What`s not going to be visible? the bones? So all i have to do is switch the antagonizer`s arms for the stealth armor arms and that`s all?
  10. I know, i think i misunderstood the tutorial, since the bones it says to delete was the base body you use as a base to model the armor. But i didn`t do any new model, i just imported two armos, erased the arms of one of them, the rest of the body of the other one.   11. Hi guys, hope you can help me out with this one. If i want to modify an armor, changing the arms, do i have to add weight to it or it will still have the original weight? I erased the bones it came with (the tutorial about creating a new armor told me so) Did that removed the weight of the bones? Please, if anyone can answer that, it`s the last step to finish my armor.
  12. Hi folks, i`ve been trying to make a modification on an armor but after reading 30 pages on blender tutorials still got nothing. As you can see in the image: http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/4709/antagonizer3000.jpg I´m adding a coat to the antagonizer´s suit wich i had to modify in the chest area to avoid clipping issues. I also changed the arms for the chinese stealth armor arms but modify the texture to make it look like it´s all part of the same armor. And Finally, i modify the helmet, removing those goofy antennas and modifying the visor, adding googles to the helmet (not really necessary but it looked better) But in order to add this to the game i have to either do this in Blender instead of using Maya. The thing is, i already reed like 50 pages of a blender tutorial and still have no clue how to remove the arms or modify the UVs, not even mention how to keep the rigging once i`m done with the modification. Is there a specific tutorial that could help me? Please don`t bump this thread, if you think there is no other tutorial just say so, otherwise, i still have a lot to read.
  13. Hi folks, i`m trying to make a perk, maybe given by quest where you can summon some creatures depending on the "material" you can afford. Say i want to summon 2 working ants, i need 1 box of sugar bombs (mh, now that i think about it i don`t remember seeing sugar bombs in NV) For 2 working ants an a soldier ant would require 3, 5 ants (3 working, two soldiers) requires 7 and finally a "full squad" option with 8 ants (4 working, 4 soldier) that requires 10. Now, that is the main idea, so my question is: is there a tutorial for summoning or is it a complete outside option? I know there`s a tutorial on compannions but couldn`t find one abour summoning.

Hi folks, i`m in the middle of a battle with GECK since i addan apparel item the object effect called "increase speed multiplier" wich should make my char run faster yet on equip nothing happens. I tryed several numbers in the "magnitude" tag, like 4, 6 and even 10 but nothing, so i think it must be something i`m missing. If any of you knows what i`m doing wrong please tell me.
  15. In my opinion, if you OWN both fallout 3 and New Veagas, you should be able to do whatever you want. Now, i understand that if someone who doesn`t have FO3 but has FNV and soddenly founds he can include things like creatures or perks or whatever he would be having acces to something he didn`t pay for. But let`s face it, it`s not like the mods are giving away the hole game for free. I even added the AntAgonizer`s suit for NV and was going to release it as a mod but i had to desist for this very reason. However, even if i found it unfair, if Bethesda says we can`t, we can`t.
