  1. Sounds like GECK wasn't installed to the same location as the game. every time I reinstall the software I get the same error Well that's the problem, it is installed to the same directory in the same folder as the game.
  2. Hey, I wanted to make my own mods using the GECK, but every time I open it I get a message saying that it's unable to load CTL and then something about stars.. I really want to know how to fix this and I heard that someone was able to fix it by going into the GECK.ini file(Where ever that is >->) and added a couple lines. I want to know where I can find my GECK.ini file, since it's not in my fallout 3 directory, and I want to know what lines I need to add in there to fix this issue. The major issue with this is that I can't load any 3d models and I get a CTD whenever I try to. I know that my computer meets hardware specs, so there is actually no need for me to add my specs. I know for a fact that it's not a hardware issue...
  3. Erm, details? xD I'm having the same issue and have no clue on where to find the .ini file and what lines I would have to add in. I know this is an old post but I really want the Geck to work ._.
  4. Well dang it, I'm having the same issue and your solution didn't work for me T_T
  5. I know what the problem is, your installing Fallout 3 to the programs files folder, you need to install it in a new folder like "Games" it's a common bug with games and windows 7 I know this because I spent 3 hours tackling this issue with my friend last night xD If this issue isn't fixed by this, then your gonna have to either get a new lappy or forget about this game, laptop parts are more trouble then their worth and 9 times out of 10, you have to replace the entire motherboard in the laptop to replace the video chipset. I doubt you'd want to do that since it would violate your warranty
