Sometimes, when i am in combat and i swing my sword or cast a spell, the game just totally freezes and i have to Control-alt delete quit it... I've heard that it's because of sound issues, can it be that? Please help

So yeah, i just downloaded some Modder's resource stuff, a bunch of .nif files, i downloaded Nifskope, but what now? I dunno what to do, so if someone could please tell me how i get these into the CS, i'll be most grateful:)
