  1. After playing DA:O as many times as I have, I've noticed that most enemies have a spell that the PC does not have access to. This reminded me of Mega-Man and Blue Mage where these enemy specific abilities became the focal point of a new class or a combat system. Some of these are ideas to augment the spell for the PC. Some are incomplete thoughts. This is my first time here so not entirely sure how to organize my idea. Beast: Rage (Bear)- Increase Strength by 10% for 30 seconds. Acid Spit (Deepstalker)- Nature Damage = 200% attack damage over 5 sec. 20% stun chance. Web (Spider)- Paralyze for 5 sec. Frenzy (Werewolf)- Four consecutive hits for normal damage. Howl (Wolf)- Defense penalty -20% for 15 seconds within 10 meters. Dragon: Breath (Dragon)- Normal weapon damage every second within flame as Fire damage. (Friendly-Fire possible.) Slap (Drake)- Normal damage around the caster and knockdown. (Friendly-Fire possible.) Buffet (High Dragon)- Critical damage and knockback in front of caster. (Friendly-Fire possible.) Demon: Aura of Fire (Rage Demon)[sustained]- Fire damage within 5 meters of caster. 10% of normal damage every second. Death Magic (Hunger Demon)[sustained]- Same as the already existing Mage Talent. Aura of Weakness (Sloth Demon)[sutained]- Pre-existing spell of Gaxkang. Same effects. Cursed Dance (Desire Demon)- Same effect as existing spell. Mana Wave (Pride Demon)- Same effect as existing spell. Possessions: Drain Life (Skeleton)- Same effect as existing spell. Slam (Ash Wraith): Critical damage and knockdown. Triple Strike (Abomination)- Three consecutive normal hits dealt as Spirit damage. Spirit Blast (Arcane Horror)- Bolt of Spirit Damage. 100+ Spellpower x.7 Revenant (Pull)- Same as existing ability. Sylvan (Roots)- Same as existing ability. {Preferably does not prevent the caster from acting for the duration} Misdirection Hex (Shade)- Same as existing spell. Darkspawn: Stealth (Genlock)- Same as existing ability. {Fourth rank Rogue equivalent} Berserk (Hurlock)- Same as existing ability. Terrorize (Sharlock/Shriek)- Same as existing ability. Stomp (Ogre)- Same as existing ability. Scream (Broodmother)- Same as existing ability. Misc.: Hurl (Golem)- Same effect as existing ability. Note: Didn't really know what to put Golem under other than Misc. incase you wanted to add some abilities yourself. *I imagine this class only ever using Weapon and Shield talents. If possible make it only capable of investing in these talents. *If possible make these abilities learned only after fighting the species that possesses the ability. Or only able to be invested in upon meeting the species. *The base class I would imagine as Warrior. With the vast array of spells I would not consider specializations necessary. *This class I also imagine having both Stamina and mana if possible. Of course having physical abilities cost stamina and magical ones costing mana. *I did not imagine adding any special equipment. With the wide variety of abilities, mixing and matching current equipment to suit your spell preference should suffice. *I had started imagining ratios for these abilities, then realized I have no idea if setting damage or spell power ratios for some is even possible. So, I leave that to your discretion if possible. *I've been calling the class "Mimos" the greek word for mimic. For obvious reasons. Ultimately, though, all of these decisions are yours to make.
