I cleared the browsing data in chrome and refreshed the page and it's working now

Cool.... got it working, thnks Tom. What I think happened was that I Dl'd BOSS GUI v0.04 and either it extracted the masterlist to my desktop... or it instructed me to. Not sure which but it doesn't really matter. Then I scrolled down on the BOMM document and it got me really confused. Saying something about BOSS F: (or BOMM:F ..... neither of which are anywhere up at the top or anywhere in the entire section... and then first said to change the first line (probably to what you wrote :P) but then said don't change the SVN then proceeded to instruct me to change 2 lines (has stuff in the change like FO3Masterlist.txt,etc.... I assume that's the website it contacts) Anyway the point is that there arn't 4 lines.... theres only 3.... and if I don't need to change the first 2... whats going on with the instructions for 2 more line changes? So from then on I was lost. Oh, I guess it wasn't Eldrac's Armory that was causing those issues.... and I really have no good idea which one is. And what I said about OOO Full and OOO Lite had to do to something I saw in wrye (or BOSS report using wrye) about an incompatibility between MMM Gemdust and Gemstones (not sure about the exact spelling) and OOO Full..... maybe that's what FCOM is supposed to clear up... no clue and again.... since I'm mainly interested in learning how BOSS and BOMM works and what I can do to better integrate my mods, sort them so they work, or identify which are simply not going to work together, etc.... it doesn't matter.... :) I guess a Q I do have tho is.... why is BOMM better than just using BOSS Gui.... I get the manual updating the masterlist thing (I think) but I noticed a lot more recognized Mods and Bashed Tags for all of them now. (Still have no idea what a Bashed Tag is tho.. I assume it's instructions) Thnks for the help Tom..... I do appreciate it... but saying something about me not reading instructions or I must have not read it doesn't really help m8..... I'm not an computer programmer and everything I've seen about these apps assumes (even says it in wrye) a level of expertise that I certainly don't have yet, and a lot of people don't. Case in point the instructions you spoke of in your last would be so much clearer and I wouldn't have needed any further help if there had been a simple example like you gave = problem solved. It reminds me of what imo is a horrible mod Mystery of Mausoleum where a very large number (including me) of people where having crashes when entering a certain place and the creators were asking for tons of diagnostics tests instead of just making it clear that if you you don't have a certain file in your Pluggy file to Create One, and place the Mom .ini into it. = problem solved. I'm not trying to make you angry... after all.... you are the only one helping me....lol It definitely increases the frustration factor..... and maybe it's why I see so many people NOT using this stuff. Would be nice if more people were helping tbh.... anyway I'm done venting, I promise :)

I'm totally lost on the BOMM configuration. I did the first part....created a "Doc Macros" folder in my documents and copied the BOSS Masterlist Manager into it.... made the shortcut, etc. Step by step.... just as it says on TESPOSItive. Then opened and enabled Macro handling or whatever in MSOffice 2007... corrected top line to L:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\Doc Macros\ ... saved changes and closed.... opened the shortcut and it says that the Masterlist isn't in this folder. I even tried copying the masterlist update .txt .... (june 28) and it has error code 52.

No I don't have MSWord I guess. found a torrent for MSWord 2007 and it's DL'ing. My connection is being slow today so when I get it done I'll check out BOMM again. I *think* I got a bashed patch done for my load order... I still don't understand what bashed tags are for. On saves tho... I have 3 that won't load so I'm pretty certain I don't have the correct masters. (think I need to reinstall lattamer... I had it installed at one point but removed it and installed lattamerv3) My Q I guess is when you right click on a save and in the middle it says Find Masters or something like that.... does it scan your puter for the masters.... Or internet? I'll look into it myself after I get the stuff done on Eve I need to... I'm trying to not totally mess everything up tho by pressing something I shouldn't :) I'll also search for the descritption of the save file on tesnexus. Anyway one other thing, I read on that link you gave me for TES:Positive that OBMM doesn't like manually installed mods, and ones that are will show up as having conflicts when they really don't. Should I always create an omod for every single mod? I'll do that next time I have to do a clean installation, since I can't get OOO or MMM to work and it recommends a clean installation. I might have DL'd the full OOO and not lite..... I read only OOO lite is compatible. Anyway I know that's several things but any insights you can give are welecome. Thnks for the help

Yeah I got it all working m8. and I already ran the BOSS reorder .bat or whatever. But I'm stuck atm on installing BOMM. One Q first, setting up BOMM will allow automatic updating of the materlist file correct?? If I don't install it then I need to manually update the list in oblivion\data? Alright, on installing BOMM I got to the point where it says to: Click Word’s Office Button Where is that? ... and how do I get there. Note: It was Eldrac's Armory Final mod that had messed up all the other races. It not only puts the custom race Daemon Born in but quite a few others that I guess are more or less duplicates of vanilla races but have in the race description THIS IS NOT A PLAYABLE RACE!! DO NOT CREATE A RACE USING THIS!! SERIOUSLY!!! or something along those lines. it's why it took me so long to figure out which mod was messing with everything else. I wasn't associating that mod with a custom race mod.... just a weapons/armor mod. Anyway if it comes up in the future and the person has that in their load order it could be the issue

I'm running XP SP2... (32bit) I have oblivion installed in L:\Programs\Bethesda I reformatted my HDD and that's my active/boot partition. I have both the 275 self installer and 283 archive version. Yesterday I had already been messing with OBMM for quite a while, so it didn't take much to get me frustrated (had nothing to do w/too much coffee as well.. nope, no way :) I have python 3.1 installed.

I ended up just deactivating everything and eliminating them 2 at a time until I found the mod messing with the custom races. It wasn't just messing with cute elves.... was mesing with all of them. Thnks for taking a look at the load order tho Tom, I appreciated it. Hopefully the people who created wrye and those others will one day create a completely merged version so people that have some knowledge of mods, but arn't experts, can install the things you listed and use them.

I placed that BOSS doc into the oblivion/data folder but wrye bash won't start. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and same thing. I might just have to switch off everything except what I'm actually using for a game I'm playing. Cause I'm already really discouraged. It's why I nvr messed with wrye so far.

umm... I don't have microsoft word Yeah I think I had issues with Combined Hair and ...etc b4. So.... basically deactivate those 3 you listed and any race mods I don't actually use first? ( tbh I installed a lot of them because they had good looking saves that I couldn't reproduce myself. :) My favs are moonshadow, hidden elves, cute elves, chocolate, sonnet, and I have one or 2 saram characters I created and look great. Pretty much in that order. Anyway I'll get started on that. and DL and install those things you linked. I have no idea what a spoiler tag is m8. Thnks for the help

Thnks for answering Tom.... you really helped me out with installing QTP3 so I might give it a try. At that time I installed wrye bash as well. I just havn't spent the time learning it yet. I ran a conflict report after posting yesterday and switched off every other mod that it had conflicting with cute elves but no joy. I'll post a load order in a separate post..... it's a very long one.

Is there a console command to reset all quest stages or a certain save game to the start of the game again? (the prison cell) I have a great looking cute elf but I made the mistake of not keeping that particular character's start separate and I overwrote it. I tried to just create a new one but obv another custom race mod is interfering because I can't get all the eyes, or hair to work. I'll check OBMM to see which in particular might be interfering (it's usually rens beauty pack) and just switch those off to create a new cute elf face if I have to. But if theres a console command to take everything to the start, it'd be a lot easier... since I have nearly 300 mods installed, and about 20 custom races. any help/advice would be appreciated. not interested in learning wrye bash or BAIN atm to import the face file as I just spent several weeks learning how to alter skin sets in photoshop and installing them.
