  1. I hope you can make that work. I am planning to start a vampire hideout/home mod soon. I would really like the ability to have a sleepable coffin. Honestly I would really like to see a see you sleep mod. One that lets you see the PC in 3rd person when sleeping and that has animations for sleeping and rising from sleep. Different ones for vamps of course. But I hope your mod succeeds. It is about time someone made something like that!. :yes:
  2. Forma spell. The ability for constant use is actually what I wanted in the first place. Fine with me! I am also fine with removing spells/ abilities. However, I recommend NOT removing the extra carry weight bonus. I can just see that as supper annoying to lose extra carry capacity and becoming over encumbered. Whether vamps are hiding their true form they still should have super strength (and possibly speed too). I would love it if you could make AOS work only if you were within a certain distance (maybe 10 feet or so) or better yet only if you were detected. Also this is a little out of scope, but do you guys think that sleep-able coffins are a possibility? P.S. I am glad you all are testing this so thoroughly in the alpha stage. I know this is going to be an epic mod once it is done. You can't rush perfection. Don't feel like you have to rush.
  3. Better sleeping mod. One that lets you see your character sleeping, and it has several sleeping animations/poses. Definitely one that has a different sleeping animation for vampires. Crossed arms probably. It would also be good if we had some more bed options too, specifically coffin beds. I am not alone on wanting this. PLEASE. :thumbsup:
  4. So are we ditching latin in favor of romanian? That's fine but imo all the spells should use the same language. "If the sounds of the new names just don't fit we'll leave them out," by this statement you mean the new spell name correct? not the entire spell.
  5. @MM Glad you feel that way. Just trying to help where I can. Be happy to help with the testing in about 2 weeks. Meanwhile I will watch the forums. And if you post videos I'll be sure to give any suggestions that I can see. Keep up the awesome work!
  6. Cooldown idea: As long as you don't mean power (once a day). If it works like a shout where you wait so many seconds I am fine with that. But if you go to all that trouble I'd rather it not drain magika or stamina. Once it is toggeled off you have to wait X number of seconds before using it again. But when it is up it can stay up until disabled. Disabling Powers: I personally feel that some of the powers should be removed when using Forma. At least feeding for starters. As far as testing, that is fine I should be ready to go by Sunday the 8th or by Monday the 9th at the latest. Depends on how long it takes me to reinstall the game.
  7. Happy to help. Here is my situation. I finish my school semester next weekend. So until then I don't have a lot of testing time. So if you don't mind waiting for me to test till then, I will be happy to help, and you can sign me up for a beta spot. I am also planning to res-install the game. I have so many mods installed I want to make a fresh install regardless of whether I am in the beta or not.

For "Sumo Mortalis Forma" definitely a lesser power and I agree that most abilities should be removed. However, personally I think your vampire strength (additional carry weight) should remain in effect. I can just see that as getting super annoying if when you equip the Forma spell you carry weight drops and now you are over encumbered. Speed I am indifferent about. I am fine with keeping it or removing it, people can always think you are just a faster runner. There are marathon and sprint runners today who are way faster than everyone else. But things like mist power, bat transformation, feeding (really most of your vampire powers) should be disabled. As far as tying it to magicka or stamina, is it possible to do a check and just base it upon whatever stat is higher? If your character has higher magicka then drain magika, if your character has higher stamina drain stamina, or if magicka and stamina are equal drain magicka (or stamina). I'd rather it not drain both. I personally would also like to see the amount drained as a configurable value. For me I'd rather play where the Forma costs zero, BUT I am always AOS. Therefore I want to hide by using the mask. However, if I want to feed or use my full powers I have to shed my human illusion for a time.

  11. Personally disabling attacking in this slowed time form may be justified to prevent it from being OP.
  12. Have you guys seen this mod:Spell Master The Time And Space? (see video below) http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=13811 When watching the video I couldn't help but think this should be a vampire power the whole time. I know you have something similar included, but I dont know a whole lot about it. And I don't think it slowed down time as much as this does. Something like this would be awesome to add for sires. Justification: In lore powerful vampires often move so fast they become invisible.   13. I am hoping to make a home/hideaway mod for vamps, but it really needs vampire coffin beds. I also really wish that someone would make a see you sleep mod so that you can see yourself in said coffin bed.
  14. Immersion is the whole reason I mentioned it. Something to think about. It just seems sad, since everyone (for the most part) hates elves, and once a vamp you aren't hated anymore.
  15. I would like to request someone make a sleepable coffin mod for all those vampire players out there. Surely someone can make one or else port one from oblivion. Shouldn't be that hard to do.
  16. This is a request. But I SO want to see someone do this. I think it would be epic that if you are facing a master/ancient vampire, they try to temp the PC, before they simply start attacking. They congratulate the player for getting that far (into the dungeon/lair) and then they offer their dark gift to you. Say something like, "Lay down your weapons, and kneel before me and accept my gift. Become my child and join me in immortality." Then if the PC accepts, he will walks over and talk to the vampire, then an animation plays where the vampire bites the PC. (then the PC now has vampirism either instantly (which would be better IMO) or the 3 day incubation period starts). If the PC refuses the gift then vamp says something like "fool you should have joined me" and then immediately attacks (should be a hard boss as well). This may not need to be implemented for all master/ancient vampires but it should be implemented to some. PLEASE do this! I'd do it myself but I don't have modding skills. :(
  17. In my monitoring of other mods, I thought of a tweak to check for and possibly implement. Since you effectively change races when you become a vampire all racism in the game is gone. Example if you are an elf race the Nords don't distrust you anymore. It would be really nice if you were still treated the same way as before you became a vampire. IMO since vamps are masters of trickery and disguise, NPCs should still view you as if you were your original race (they can't see that your are a vamp). Therefore the racisim should still exist. I am guessing that the mortal form power will bring the racism back while it is in use, but I think it should always apply (unless maybe you are a sire or something, but by that point you should be feared or AOS as well).

By the time it goes public it should be awesome. Anytime you release videos of the mod I am happy to spill my thoughts on them. Again keep up the awesome work.

  21. One other thing, please test the effect of saving and reloading while in mist form. Or else make it so you can't save the game while in that form. I am not trying to compare your mod to the vampire FX project, but I do know his mod sometimes had problems when saving in mist form. When you reloaded the game your forms were reversed. When invisible you were confined to the ground and when visible you could fly around (like you are supposed to in mist form). Just an FYI to watch for. Looking good guys!
  22. That is sick! Three questions/suggestions about the mist form. (1) Can NPC's "see" you in this form? When I used the mist form in the Vampire FX mod it always annoyed me to death that you were in this ethereal mist form and NPC's could see me and were always commenting about my appearance. They shouldn't be able to see you like that. They should be totally oblivious to you when you melt into the shadows. (2) Can you use mist form in the day? I suggest making it only accessible during the night since the sun is supposed to weaken you during the day. (3) It may be just the quality of the audio from the youtube video. But the sound effect from the mist form seemed to be pretty bad/poor quality and repeated every 1/2 second. Any chance of getting a better quieter mist sound.
  23. If this is already implemented forgive my ignorance. But why not have hunger related to in game days and nights. In essence, for each 24 hour period that passes you go up one level towards being starved. So in vanilla I believe it would be 72 in game hours until you are starving (24h from level1 to 2, 24h from 2 to 3, 24h from 3 to 4). Also if someone changes the in game time variable (how fast time passes in the game (to give perceived longer days and nights)) would this mod still calculate hunger correctly? Would it still be 72 in game hours till you are starving?
  24. Also like the idea of a longer night. And I think satiation should be related the amount of passing time (waiting and sleeping should count too).
