  1. I would like to see an armor based off of the ashlander concept art from Morrowind, as I have yet to see anything like it in a mod.
  2. That's fairly easy, but a little tricky to explain in words alone. In Nifskope, the mesh of your object will have an NiTriShape node, which will have a BSLightingShaderProperty node, which will have a BSShaderTextureSet node. That node will have a property that says textures and has a little flower to the right of it. Click the arrow to the left of the word textures, which will cause nine texture slots to appear, each with a purple flower by them. Clicking on the flowers will allow you to select the texture path. The first slot down from the original flower is where you need to put your diffusion map. The one below that is where you need to put your normal map.
  3. I was wondering if it would be possible to make clothing slots for animals, primarily wolves. The goal is to make it easier to create armor for wolves and other canines. If someone could point me in the right direction, I could probably do most of this mod by myself.

  5. Check out Character Creation Overhaul. It allows you to pick between the 21 traditional TES classes. These classes have a certain focus (magic, health, or stamina) and six major skills which level up at about vanilla rate. The rest...well...you have to work a lot harder. This is rather interesting. I don't know if anything like it has already been made, aside from the gambling mods Boombro mentioned. I don't know about the mini-games.

  7. Is there a mod that delevels the inventories of vendors, in a way similar to that of SkyRe?
  8. Okay, so, when you hit the tab key, you are taken to a menu that can direct you to a skills menu, items menu, magic menu, or the map. How would a modder go about making another menu and making it so that pressing down would take the player to this menu, rather than the map?
  9. For creating the mesh, you will need a 3D modeling program. Blender is free, but it can be a pain in the arse to install. You will also need GIMP (or Photoshop) and Nifskope. Also, this is a good place to start.
  10. It seems like some of the features will cause problems with PerMa. Still, thanks for pointing it out.

I have recently installed PerMa (I used SkyRe briefly before that), which makes it easier and more satisfying to play as a conjurer, alteration mage, illusionist, etc. I also have random alternate start installed. So, I have decided to roleplay as a cleric. What are some good clothing/armor mods and PerMa compatible spell mods that could make my roleplaying a little more fun. I have seen Journeyman Healer's Robes as well as a male cleric armor made using bits and pieces of the vanilla ebony armor. These are both fine mods, but I was wondering what else there might be out there.
  12. In response to psylence's comment about leaving Elisif in power, Ulfric knew that it would make him look more merciful and reasonable. Also, Ulfric could better control Haafingar by using Elisif as a puppet, like Tullius did, than by ruling it himself, as many of the people in Solitude really loved Torygg. .
  13. When you become thane of a hold, you receive a weapon as a "symbol of your office". If the weapon is a symbol of your office, then why is it identical to an item you can buy at the blacksmith or find on a bandit? I have looked for a mod with unique hold weapons, and the closest thing I found was an incomplete set of models. I was wondering if there might be a mod like the one I am looking for, somewhere on the nexus. If not, is there anybody here who might be interested in undertaking such a project? Certain hold weapons should have an appearance that reflects the wealth and culture of their hold. The Axe of Whiterun might have dragon (as cliche as they are in Skyrim) or horse motifs. Haafingar's weapon might be a little more ornamental than the rest. Eastmarch's might be a little more rustic looking with boar/bear motifs. Thank you guys for your times, as always. I would like to know your thoughts and/or recommendations.
  14. I think Talos already shares a lot of characteristics with the Christ archetype. Let's see: Mortal with a divine essence. Check. Love for Mankind...and seemingly nothing else. I don't mean any offense by that. Check. Followers who seem to think that he is a member of their race when he actually belonged to a race they despise. Check. Prophesied return. This one's harder to prove, but the player is even given the name Ysmir, which Talos himself bore at one time. Mara personally seems to have more in common with Mary (at least the Catholic portrayal of Mary) than with Eve. I'm not trying to argue with you, though, just listing my thoughts.
