  1. Appreciate the response but my drivers are always up to date. I am thinking that skyrim or a mod I am using dislikes my onboard sound card. Realtek. Maybe it just can not handle such a heavily modded game. These errors all are involving sound files. I have noticed lately that my Mod organizer log is getting huge last playthrough it was 97mb. That seems wonky. EDIT Anyone else that may have this problem some day. I am pretty sure I fixed this by removing the REALTEK sound manager, and just letting windows run things.
  2. Using Mod organizer and I keep getting this error periodically, Windows Exception (c0000005). Origin: "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\TESV.exe" (c1ef39). Last hooked call: void *__stdcall CreateFileW_rep(const wchar_t *,unsigned long, unsigned long, struct _SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES *,unsigned long, unsigned long, void *) I have skyrim and steam outside of program files. I have MO outside of program files. Everything is set to run as admin. I even turned off UAP, no effect. Anyone else run into this?
  3. Hey Forskyrimmods. Not trying to high jack the thread I came on to ask about momod myself. Would you mind posting your load order? I think it may help the fellow above as well. I myself have been trying to get mo mod, SIC and skytest to work together. I did once but have not been able to repeat it. I have the skytest momod patch merged with the rest of skytest patches per SRLE LOD. I was thinkng maybe that was a problem. I certainly already have bashed patch going. I amjust thinking things are in the wrong place.
  4. Heck I have been at it for more than a month off and on. Your best bets are to visit these pages and follow along, even if you do not want to follow all steps they have great advice. http://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:2.2.9.2 http://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited_-_Legendary_Edition http://wiki.step-project.com/User:Darth_mathias/SRLE_Extended_Legacy_of_The_Dragonborn
  5. Any ENB I use all I get are some eyes showing. I am using the alternate start mod and all the textures of the game aside from the eyes are black or very dark gray. The race menu UI looks fine. Other than that my game runs great. This is driving me nuts and any advice would be appreciated. I have only seen one other person with this problem but they were running ENderal.
  6. I just remember in a video of I think Gopher, it was one of the big modders videos on youtube, he said you needed to name it TES5Merged. Seems like it had to do with Loot. I am not certain it matters at all, just trying to follow directions I get. I am redoing everything as well, just bought a EVGA 1070 8gb card so I think I can actually use decent textures now.
  7. I feel for you. It is like trying to herd cats at times. With all those mods I would look into making a TES5Merged patch. You can find videos on how to do it pretty easy. Maybe try CLaralux instead of Lanterns of skyrim. Maybe replace CLimates of Tamriel with Vivid weathers too, there are just less patches to deal with, so far I am liking both those mods a lot. Very simple. Edit Nevermind I see now you have something called Merged patch? I thought though that Gopher said you needed to name that TES5Merged if that is it.
  8. Nifhealer really saved the day when I got this error, but the nifs that were corrupted were attached to immersive creatures, a throwingstoneprojectile.nif. Are these nifs being corrupted or are they corrupt from the get go?
  9. I am having this issue myself all of a sudden. I am not using Enderal. Everything runs fine but if I add an ENB, any ENB...at the race menu all I see are eyes and the Hud looks ok, but everything else is blackish gray. I amusing the alternate start mod and I can also see the ghost prisoners through the walls. I just don't get it. It all worked fine before. Any hint would be appreciated. I deleted the ini's and started over there and that did not help either. SKyrim directory is clean.
  10. I would 1st use mod organizer and install crash fixes, along with papyrus util. Enable logging in the ini of those two and it might give you some hints as to the problem. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72725/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58705/? They helped me a lot.
  11. naw I am using the optimized versions. Thanks I am going to need it.
  12. It only took me about a month but I think I am done with making a modded skyrim with near 250 mods. Everything seems to be pretty good but I would really appreciate if someone with greater knowledge would peruse my load order, just to see if they see any glaring problems before I start a game. Thanks for any advice. http://pastebin.com/brYmBpJv
  13. In my many attempts to get a really epic modded skyrim I eventually run into this Windows Exception (c0000005). Origin: "unknown" (100100dd). Last hooked call: void *__stdcall CreateFileW_rep(const wchar_t *,unsigned long, unsigned long, struct _SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES *,unsigned long, unsigned long, void *) or Windows Exception (c0000005). Origin: "unknown" (696e6170). Last hooked call: int __stdcall GetFileAttributesExW_rep(const wchar_t *,enum _GET_FILEEX_INFO_LEVELS,void *) I have Steam and skyrim installed outside of program files, I am using mod organizer. The crash happens as I wait for all the MCM menus are loading messages to finish. I have tried turning off user account control. I have tried running everything as admin. Thanks for any advice. 3.07ghz i7 12gb ram gtx770 2gb, using vividian enb. Papyrus log http://pastebin.com/KpBqSY3u load order
  14. So when I am installing a mod in MO, only the 1st option of each page of the mod install is giving me info on the selected feature. So basically I am not getting the information about different selections. Anyone know what setting I need to do, or what is the problem?
  15. Appreciate the clarification.
