  1. Appreciate the response but my drivers are always up to date. I am thinking that skyrim or a mod I am using dislikes my onboard sound card. Realtek. Maybe it just can not handle such a heavily modded game. These errors all are involving sound files. I have noticed lately that my Mod organizer log is getting huge last playthrough it was 97mb. That seems wonky. EDIT Anyone else that may have this problem some day. I am pretty sure I fixed this by removing the REALTEK sound manager, and just letting windows run things.
  2. Using Mod organizer and I keep getting this error periodically, Windows Exception (c0000005). Origin: "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\TESV.exe" (c1ef39). Last hooked call: void *__stdcall CreateFileW_rep(const wchar_t *,unsigned long, unsigned long, struct _SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES *,unsigned long, unsigned long, void *) I have skyrim and steam outside of program files. I have MO outside of program files. Everything is set to run as admin. I even turned off UAP, no effect. Anyone else run into this?
  3. Hey Forskyrimmods. Not trying to high jack the thread I came on to ask about momod myself. Would you mind posting your load order? I think it may help the fellow above as well. I myself have been trying to get mo mod, SIC and skytest to work together. I did once but have not been able to repeat it. I have the skytest momod patch merged with the rest of skytest patches per SRLE LOD. I was thinkng maybe that was a problem. I certainly already have bashed patch going. I amjust thinking things are in the wrong place.
  4. ENB's are just rough to work with. I do not know what kind of rig it requires. I have a GTX 1070 with 8gb ram and I am getting 25fps when it rains using Vividian best performance ENB. I have turned down everything you can tweak on top of that. I get around 45fps when it is not raining. I even have DDSopted nearly all the mods. I really like the look but it just does not seem worth it all.
  5. I finally just went to mod.watch and looked through a thousand load order lists, taking some from here and some from there. I just made sure that what I was taking was consistent in many load orders.
  6. I figured it out eventually. I just had to wait a bit for the numbers to show up after clicking on the Papyrus tab. 63335. I will have to keep an eye on it.
  7. In the SRLE Wiki it mentions that a string count of 65,535 or more will cause your saved games to become corrupt. After reading that "String count" can cause save game corruption I looked to see how I could find what mine was. TESV ESS Editor was mentioned as a tool to see what it is. Supposedly you look under [Global data] and then 2. Papyrus. The only numbers I see there are --Type: 1001 [Papyrus -- Length: 21579949. I have a nearly full SRLE LOD install with a few extra mods. Which of these represents strings? God I hope not the 21579949. What am I missing here?
  8. Start here. Only way to begin to understand this stuff, at least for me was to do these S.T.E.P.S. http://wiki.step-project.com/Main_Page http://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited_-_Legendary_Edition http://wiki.step-project.com/User:Darth_mathias/SRLE_Extended_Legacy_of_The_Dragonborn I think mod Organizer is the closest to what you are looking for though.
  9. In my build I added Wyrmstooth and everything has gone smooth until now. At this point the ESP for the conflict resolution wants ELE_Legendary_FS_lite.esp but of course I have the one with Wyrmstooth. Should I just rename it, and change it back after conflict resolution or could I add the one it wants and then switch? Or get rid of wyrmstooth? edit - NM I misunderstood how the conflict resolution.esp was to work.
  10. GTX 1070 8gb, but my processor is a little old 3.06 quad core. Next time I will just leave it the BSA's, if this try don't work I give up on the massive mod install and will just stick with a few basics.
  11. I am following along pretty faithfully with SRLE LOTD, only adding monster.mod, beasts of tamriel, hunterborn, immersive jewelry. So hopefully the install order for it will help, because God help me I have unpacked 100 gig worth of mods. The thought of re-installing....shudder.
  12. When you merge plugins, for example Beards.esp, Brows.esp, KS Hairdo's.esp, TheEyesOfBeauty.esp.....etc. I get a merged esp, but with that I also get a folder that is like 1 gig worth of textures and other stuff. Do we need to use the entire folder or is it just the merged esp that you need? So far I have been using the entire folder, but I would just like to be clear. Thanks for any advice.
  13. I appreciate the clarifications. I understand BSA's more than I did before. Which was not much.
  14. Because I have seen a few mods mention to never do so. While I was starting out trying to do STEP, I had serious questions about even the optimized textures, because in some places people said extract other places they said don't. SRLE_Extended_Legacy_of_The_Dragonborn even has a few like the Arthmoor villages, so I figure there has to be more.
