  1. Hey guys. Unlike alot of people, I don't mind ads on the site. I don't mind auto-play ads. I don't even really mind that now the ads run every minute. Lots of bandwidth and server space is needed here, you do what you need to do to pay for it. But...could we at least put the ads somewhere that they don't actively interfere with functionality? I'm trying to read mod descriptions and these auto-play ads keep popping up and blocking the whole right corner of my screen, covering up text I need to read. Over and over. Is it not possible to make them a banner on the right or shift the layout of the pages slightly to the left so the ads don't actually cover up stuff?
  2. Hi all. Anyone know some good mods that nerf the OP elements of the game, without overhauling like the entire perk system or magic system or just the entire combat system in general? I like leveling and using different skills to get an advantage, I don't enjoy having to just not do those things or only half-use them, but I also don't like when I am steam-rolling a dozen Falmer Warmongers like a fat man bowling over a group of kids to be first in line at the ice cream truck. I shouldn't have to choose between having fun in combat, and having fun min/maxing and RPG-ing. I have some mods that boost magic and shouts to be decent, now I just need some to make enchantments and archery and maybe certain spells more reasonable, so they are still worth leveling and obtaining without removing all challenge. I play on...can't remember the name, the second highest difficulty setting, in Oldrim (Legendary difficulty is just too farcical, at least for quite a while when you start a new game), if that helps any. Thanks for any suggestions!
  3. Yeah, that was the last one I tried. And it's a well-made mod, but the boundaries are usually much too big and sometimes not placed well. I basically wanted an alternative version of that, but I didn't see one. But I appreciate the suggestion all the same.
  4. Hi. I know there are tons of mods to make settlement building totally different, let you erect whole cities, build skyscrapers, and all that. I'm hoping to find something alot less dramatic--all I really want is a mod that increases/changes the settlement boundaries intelligently, but not excessively. Like, the whole of Sanctuary island should be in the settlement, and...that's it, that's all I really want. Well, not just Sanctuary, but those kinds of changes. So many settlement boundaries are awkward as heck--sometimes the only building in a settlement is like the very edge of the boundary, so you can hardly even wall it off, or you have a corner that pokes straight out into the forest, or how Hangman's Alley doesn't encompass the entire alley. The ones I've tried have usually just made settlements HUGE, resulting in settlers wandering around all over the place, sometimes into the roads to get shot by traveling Rust Devils or close enough to nearby enemy camps to start fights. I just want the boundaries moved around to be a reasonable size that fully encompass the area (no cutting buildings in half) and lets me arrange a decent settlement and construct logical defenses. Some settlements are already fine, but many are bizarre, and I am just surprised I can't find a mod to fix that without doubling the size or doing anything else more radical. If anyone knows of such a mod, please let me know. I don't mind if this feature is in a mod that also does other things, potentially, that's fine too.
  5. Hi. Does anyone know of a guide of recommended mods? Morrowind had a great one. Like, 6-10 that only fix bugs and update the graphics, harmoniously? Or would anyone like to just give me some suggestions? I don't know why, but compared to other Beth games, I feel a little lost here, a lot of the mods seem alarmingly old or people seem to think they conflict with each other. I just want the game to function and look good, not amazing, I don't need the lighting completely redone or new body types, just better than the fuzzy low-res stuff the game ships with. Sorry if such a beast is already present elsewhere, I tried looking but may have missed it. Thank you kindly.
