  1. In response to post #42359315. #42361910 is also a reply to the same post. Somehow I completely missed it, my mistake. Using that setting works flawlessly, thanks.
  2. Will there be a way to not show notifications for mods of specific games when browsing the Nexus of a different one? If I'm on the Fallout 4 Nexus and track each mod I use in order to know when there's an update, I don't want to see those update notifications if I'm on the Skyrim Nexus. Currently, all tracked mods regardless of game go through the same notification feed turning it into a jumbled mess. I could see it working as an optional feature since there are probably many people that like to see all notifications regardless of Nexus.
  3. I haven't used NMM in a while, so I just want to find out a bit of info instead of jumping blindly into using it once again. How does NMM in its upcoming state compare with Mod Organizer 2? Can the actual Fallout 4 Data folder be avoided for mod usage? Can a mod (not a plugin) be rearranged to change how things are overwritten? The inability to change how things are overwritten and needing to fully reinstall a mod just to do that in NMM was a huge con back from when I used it last. Is there something similar to MO's Overwrite folder? The Overwrite folder is is very useful for merged plugins and works very nicely with xEdit. Things like that are what made me switch over to MO a while ago, so I just want to know how NMM has evolved in that time since and for what would be planned for its future.
  4. And there's no guarantee that a "common" username will not already be snatched up. So if it bothers you that you've got random numbers in your username and want to go with just "Sean" that's likely not possible to begin with. Yep, already checked that, but that is why I don't mean for a username change in the sense of my login, but for the display name. I also went through the user creation to find a variant of my username that would work without any numbers. I've looked into IP Board a while back, there should be a way to allow users to set a display name which is different from the username used to login. Though not sure how a display name system would act with the link between the NexusForums and NexusMods. Though may be something that could be helpful to the people that do want to have a different name without needing to actually change their login details. Could even have it set for the user to only be able to change it once a year.
  5. Read through the topic, so apparently you can only close your account? There's no way at all to just get a simple name change or even the ability to set a display name? Why not just make it a part of the website where a user could change their name once a year? Would rather not have to close my account just to get rid of a few numbers with my account already about 5 years old.
  6. Can be closed / deleted, using the other topic instead.
  7. For some reason no matter what mod I use, the Talos statue in Whiterun refuses to switch out for a higher quality version. These are from using the Terrific Talos mod (and tried the pack, as well), and all other statues switch out fine, but just not Talos. -1 -2 I have been trying to get the highest quality version working, but I can't see what I am doing wrong to make it not do so.
  8. It could be too many plugins, as I was having simiar problems. Just get the New Vegas Plugin Utility from the Nexus, and then merge the plugins that you think woud be alright together. I would ignore any quest mods as this will reset them (think of it as installing the mod fresh), weapon mods will be the same, but I would still merge those together. I have about 5 different .ESPs containing about 10-20 mods each, and with no issue, but I still have about 60 other plugins that aren't merged. You could merge all of these together: Anoher group of mods you could merge: You would just have to disable the original .ESPs as this won't remove them, it will just copy and merge those copies together.
  9. Merging Mods is easy too. I found that there is a tool in Java (by ScripterRon) that lets your merge .ESPs which is good to to if you hit the limit of how many plugins can be loaded by New Vegas (like me). Here's a link, it is on the Nexus.
