  1. The drops happen even when standing still, and they happen inside too, but there it drops from 90 to 30. So I doubt it has anything to do with cell boundaries. I'll check if there's any background processes trying to run, good idea.
  2. I just got back into Skyrim so I spend a few evenings (nights) setting up my mods. Cleaned everything with Tes5EDIT, ran LOOT, etc. Everything seems to work fine, it looks great, and I get a steady 60 FPS, but after 20 minutes in-game my FPS suddenly drops to ~20, stays there for about 10 seconds, and goes back to 60. This then repeats every ~90 seconds. Papyrus log: Framerate drop at 12:36:30-ish (bottom of log): Loadorder: I'm at a loss here. I think we can rule out textures, because there's this 90 second time interval, but the log doesn't really show anything except for 'RNPC: Periodic update check.' which, from what I've read, is a Dawnguard thing. Can anyone make something of this? Any suggestions on experiments (disabling mods, trial and error)? I don't really feel like spending another couple of days modding from scratch, not knowing if it won't just happen again... Thanks in advance.
  3. You are a god. Wasted 3 days of my life trying to make both my girlfriends and my Skyrim look 2016-ish. Everything worked (kinda) until I got to the ENB. You fixed it! You should see the smile on my Girlfriends face while she's walking through Skyrim on her 3-day-old game-PC. You made our day! Thanks!
  4. I thought that too, and tried it. but it didn't seem to work. I installed RCRN HDR Lighting though, now it doesn't happen anymore. I Gues the problem is solved, thanks.
  5. So I just reinstalled skyrim, reinstalled all my mods, including a lot of HD textures (using the texture pack combiner) and tweaked SkyrimPrefs.ini and nvidia control panel (using the Geforce guide). Everything seemed to work fine, and everything looks great. But when I look around, textures become blurry/pixelated. In 1st person it isn't realy that noticeble. Though when I rotate the camera around my character in 3rd person, it's clearly visible. It only happens when I rotate/look around, but it's realy annoying. I'm pretty sure it's not a mod that's causing this, I didn't have this before reinstalling, and I use the same mods. I didn't tweak the previous installation, so it must be one of the settings in skyrimprefs.ini/nvidia control panel. Does anyone else have/had this "problem"? How do I fix this?
