  1. Well they do form gangs, It's a basic form of cooperation that we see in criminal groups. But I do think that if two different raider gangs happened accross one another they should start fighting instantly (which they crrently don't do because all raiders have been stuck under the 'raider' tag by Bethesda). I would actually really like a mod that changes the AI so that different gangs of raiders would fight each other.
  2. I fall into the middleground here. I feel that the raider groups we see are too diverse gender wise. While I don't feel that there should necessarily be less raiders of a given gender than the other (a crazy, drugged up person with a gun is just as deadly no matter what their gender) I do feel that each gang of raiders should be primarily male or primarily female. It's basic group dynamics, a gang of female raiders wouldn't be that interested in recruiting guys and a gang of male raiders wouldn't want to recruit girls to fight with them either. There would be exceptions of course, the odd few males in a female group or females in a male group but primarily the gangs should be unigender from a social science perspective.
  3. What I want is two different settler related mods One for giving settlers randomly generated names (I just find them all being called 'Settler' to be kind of impersonal considering they live in your settlements, I want settlers that I can care about and them having names would help with that). The second for adding text under the name of settlers that tells you what their job is (though honestly most of the mod ideas mentioned in this thread have been great). I also want a mod that allows you to assign 'policies' that apply to certain groups of settlers (by job) or just apply to your whole settlement, like a dress-code policy. For example you choose the 'Farming Uniform Policy' in a menu then all your farmer settlers wear the chosen uniform while farming (the uniform could be customizable). Also the ability to assign beds, buildings and areas to individuals and groups would be cool. You could set up a guard baracks and give everyone their own bed so noone sleeps in your bed that is inside your house. There's just so much I wish could be done with settlements and most of it will have to wait for the GECK to come out.
  4. Wait, does the scrapall command also scrap all your workbenches and such? Because most settlements start with stuff that you actually don't want to scrap (because it's a huge waste of material). Or does scrapall only scrap junk items (the ones that are highlighted in yellow when you scroll over them). Personally I would like a button to scrap only all the 'yellow' items and one to scrap all the 'green' items (because you do want to scrap many of the green items in some settlements).
  5. So, simple mod request, is it currently possible for someone to make a mod that makes every settlement vendor have their own cap and item inventories. Currently if you have more than one of the same type of vendor set up in a settlement they all share the same inventory, this is very annoying for me and I feel that if you pay for two stores and assign two different settlers then you should get two DIFFERENT shops. So I was hoping that someone out there could do something about this.
  6. I've seen a lot of weapon mods, mods that add a bunch of new weapons that are just unnecessary, I just feel that the weapon system in Skyrim is fine the way it is without adding a bunch of weapons that have no addition other than to allow people to have things that look slightly different. To that end I have come up with what I think would be a better way to allow people to have weapons look the way they like, designing your weapons. I thought to myself, why would it bee that every time you smithed a weapon it looked exsactly the same, why cant you design the appearance of your sword blade, your sword hilt, your bow. You could have something to the effect of 8 different models for each option (Which if you could choose both your sword hilt and your sword blade would mean 64 different looking swords) and this could make the game much more fun for people who have a certain look in mind for their weapons.
  7. I thought of the idea to add special staffs that I call channeling staffs to the game, they are 2 H staffs that can be used to cast spells, however unlike regular staffs channeling staffs use your magic spells instead of their own, when you use the spell you have equipped it is cast through the staff, as powerfull as a dual cast spell but only using the magicka of a single cast spell, additionally I thought that it would be a good idea to make it so that you only had to use one trigger to cast the spell and could use the other trigger for either another spell or to hit the enemy with the staff. The staffs could be enchanted with most weapon enchantments which would strengthen the spells even further, I just think it would be great for people who want to play a mage type character. Tell me your opinions and ideas, hopefully someone will decide to make this idea a reality.
  8. Remember that little mod for Fallout: New Vegas (I don't remember what it was called) that allowed you to build your own little settlement, I think it would be cool to have a variation of this for Skyrim, A few possible ways that this could be achieved could be to use existing structures (Fortresses and such) or to just do the exact same thing that was done in New Vegas, however either way I think it would be a cool mod. Tell me what you think.
  9. I was thinking that it could be cool to have a mod that adds 9 quests for Aedric Artifacts, basicly the same as the daedric artifacts but based on the personalities of the divines, the quests could be aquired by praying at the shrines of the divine in question. What do you think
  10. 1. Using an Axe or Sword to split someones head in half. 2. Knock someone to the ground and crush their head with a warhammer. 3. When Dual wielding, stab one sword into the enemies chest then decapitate them with the other one, the first sword stays in their chest and can be looted from their body.
  11. Just a small request for a mod that makes all forsworn friendly after you help their king bust out of prison, you would think that after you helped save their leader they might have the courtesy to not try to kill you on sight. I have also been thinking about some kind of mod that changes Marcarth into a forsworn fortress after the jailbreak quest (the Jarl being replaced by the forsworn king and all the guards being replaced by forsworn but all of the civilian NPCs staying the same) but just the AI change to make freindly forsworn would be perfectly fine.
  12. Wouldn't it be a better idea to make a carry weight increase spell, like the feather spell in oblivion?
  13. I was thinking it would be cool to be able to turn into a werewolf while running or sprinting, with its own unique animation. Also I was thinking that I would like to see new animations for wherewolves where you run on al fours instead of on two legs you know....like a wolf! Also some modified attack animations to go with would also work nicely.
  14. When I played my game I was fighting a bandit when we ended up in the water, so I had an idea, I ran out of the water and got out my lightning magic and electrocuted the water, and nothing happened!! So I thought, shouldn't something have happened? Shouldn't the water been electrified? So then I thought, someone has to make a mod that makes your magic have effects on the environment, like electrified water and freezing water with frost magic so you can walk over the top of it, and flame magic causeing steam to rise from the water, or using frost magic on torches or open flames putting them out (could be usefull for reducing light for easier sneaking) Or maybe even wooden items being lit on fire and eventually reduced to charcoal that you can then pick up (since areas respawn this would eventually return the environment to the way it was before. I just think it would be cool and even usefull in some situations.
  15. Yes that is block and not what I meant, my point is that people who want to play with just one 1 Handed sword will always be at a disadvantage to people who play with any other weapon combo, I want to change that. Even something that would just allow people extra chance to dodge attacks entirely (like that light armor perk) would be pretty usefull and give people a reason to play with just one 1 Hand weapon
