  1. I'm bumping this up from yesterday. I hope somebody could help me out with this.
  2. Hello, guys! I have a simple question, and yes, I tried to google this. (Maybe not as long as I should have...) My problem is that my game started crashing after the Bathesda logo once I installed the Russian language pack, but it was quickly fixed once I turned off all of the DLC... This makes me think that the DLC isn't compattible with Russian. I can run the game just fine with the Russian language, but does anybody know if the DLC was even released with various language support? In advance, I appreciate your answers! Thanks!
  3. Yes, I have SKSE installed and up to date. I'm still not sure what's wrong... :/
  4. Hello. I'm having a frustrating issue with my Skyrim client, and I believe it's caused by the popular 'Frostfall' mod. Whenever I fight dragons or even use my quick-menu to acess my spells/abilities my Skyrim completely freezes and I have to Ctrl+Alt+Delete to shut it down. This may or may not be relevant, but when this happens, Skyrim continues to play the game sound in the background. I think this is related to Frostfall because I uninstalled my mods one by one, and after Frostfall was deleted, my game ran just fine. This whole problem started happening yesterday, and I played with Frostfall from level 1-19 without any issues. Here are the mods that I use: [skyUI, Frostfall, Pure Waters] It's not a whole lot of mods, so I don't think it has anything to do with them conflicting with each other, but who knows? I would really appreciate if somebody could help me out with this issue. Thanks! (I have a decent machine that is constantly updated -- same thing goes for my mods/Skyrim client. If this isn't an easily remedied issue, I can post my computer specs and provide more detailed information.)
  5. This problem is now fixed, and it was fairly easy. I shouldn't have been skimming while reading the posts searching for clues. One of the first stickies from the author explained what the problem was and how to fix it. Here it is guys: Chesko 252 kudos 2458 posts Notice: As of Nexus Mod Manager 0.44.3, the files necessary for the SkyUI Mod Configuration Menu are not being installed correctly. This will be fixed in a future update. This will result in SkyUI Mod Configuration Menu options displaying things like $FrostfallConfigHeader1, and other unintelligible text. To fix the problem, manually download Frostfall, open the archive using 7zip, and extract the Interface/Translations files, and drop them in your Skyrim/Data/Interface/Translations directory. If the directories do not exist, create them.
  6. I will go ahead and do those steps, thank you. Assuming everything is legit, it's basically a waiting game, no?
  7. Hello! I'm having a strange problem with the popular Frostfall mod. The mod itself seems to be working in the game, however, the MCM Frostfall menu doesn't seem to be functioning properly. When I look at it, all I see is a few columns callled "$frostfallmenuoverview", and when I click on them, there is more things like "$frostfallmenuoverview" all jumbled together. It's like it's not translating properly or something. Anybody else have this problem? Is there a way to fix it? I made sure to have the latest version of SKSE and SKYUI, as well as the latest Skyrim patch, I've even reinstalled my game. I don't have any other mods besides SKYUI and FROSTFALL, so I don't think it's conflicting mods... Anyways, I would tremendously appreciate some help with this issue. Thanks!
  8. Hello guys, I just got Fallout 3. I am loving it, however, I am having a little bit 'o fps issues. I run the game on high mode, but idk if that is even what I need to be doing. I noticed that there are advanced graphic tweaking options. I assume I can lower the video setting a bit since I have the 'lessviewdistance' mod, you know, the one that makes fog. Anyhow, I am new to gaming on the computer and I don't know what I should do. I have installed windows xp home edition via bootcamp on my apple macbook pro. Here is some information about my graphics card and whatnot. Intel Core2 Duo CPU P7550 @ 2.26 GHz, 1.7GB RAM, NVIDIA GeFORCE 9400M. I would REALLY appreciate if I could get some suggestions on what settings I should run FO3, or what to do to give it more fps. I don't mind lowering the graphics, as long as it's not too much, I can't stand really low graphics... Anyways, thanks in advance, please reply, make this windows-noob happy. :D
  9. Hello, not too long ago, I installed OBSE. The reason I installed it was because I wanted to get a mod called 'streamline 2.1' I was told that I need OBSE for streamline 2.1. I don't really know so much what OBSE does, or how it works, and I didn't really want it if I didn't frequently use it. I took it off of my computer today and deleted it. I launched Oblivion via the regular Oblivion launcher, and I STILL had the ring on my character and it let me select which way I wanted to run streamline 2.1. So, do I actually need OBSE for streamline to work properly or do you only need OBSE to install streamline? As far as I can tell, streamline seems to be working, but then again, I am no modding wiz, in-fact I am pretty new to it. Thanks in advance for all of the answers! :]
