  1. If the scope features a long eye relief, it shouldn't be a problem. It's the same concept as a pistol scope - increase effective range without sacrificing maneuverability/speed or interfering with the weapon's mechanism.
  2. Something like the attached images; this machine/GRA battle rifle with mods for rails and for a scope. http://i.imgur.com/cBsIm.jpg http://i.imgur.com/CRaPZ.jpg http://i.imgur.com/x2Vix.jpg
  3. Found my answer (simply changing the value of gameplay->settings-> fMoveHeavyArmorPenalty to a higher value worked.)
  4. Just a new facial hair type. Though I suppose you could always just use the beard/mustache sliders in 'customize' when creating a character.
  5. http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=39825 - Here's the mod in question. How I can add the lightamp effect to the NVDLC02HelmetDesertRangerCombat (or any headgear I wanted) in GECK? thanks in advance for any reply.
  6. http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6998 http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8873 How would I go about porting these two weapons to NV? Just rename the mesh and texture and place them in folders that would overwrite the vanilla .bsa entries? Do I have to create new iron sights for them? Would appreciate any help.
  7. Are there any mods that add a lore-friendly semi-automatic rifle? Like a ruger mini-14, New Vegas' wood furnished service rifle, or the classic FO 1/2 hunting rifle? With a high quality model/texture?
  8. Both the variety and current texture quality of the grimy/dirty suits, viva las vegas, and the gambler outfits are lacking. I'm surprised that there was only one mod for F3 that addressed this (http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5092).
  9. Those are the only changes I remember. The problem became apparent after I looted and equipped a chainmail cuirass (i had been using huntsman vest until that point), but, as mentioned, it affects all upper body armor. It happens around 99% of the time when I try to equip/unequip armor. Occasionally it works.
  10. I installed more animals, pack guars, and farm animals of cyrodiil. They all loaded without a problem, but I don't think those should conflict with armors. I messed around with oblivion.ini as well. Here's what I edited; bFixFaceNormals=1 bEquippedTorchesCastShadows=1 iShadowMapResolution=512 bUseWaterReflectionsMisc=1 bUseWaterReflectionsStatics=1 bUseWaterReflectionsTrees=1 bUseWaterReflectionsActors=1 bUseWaterReflections=1 bGrassPointLighting=1 bDrawShaderGrass=1
  11. Crashes on unequip as well. I played for a week without any problems. This started occurring last night.
  12. I've been playing the game for a week with the retextures without any problems. The crash will occur with any random armor. No other crashes
  13. Every time I try to change armors/clothing, the game CTDs. Anyone heard of this bug? I'm not using any body replacer or modded armors, just re-textures.
  14. I'd like them if they didn't charge the dam with machetes and laser swords.
  15. I'd like to see a mod that replaces the female iron armor mesh with a more sensible one
  16. Make sure you are editing the esp that came with the mod, and not a new esp file that you have created and then loaded after the original mod. That's what I have been doing. The original bittercup_comp.esp is the only .esp I've loaded and edited in GECK. Once I save my changes, it creates a new .esp file. If I load that new .esp simultaneously with the original .esp, the mod's dialog options and bittercup's new appearance will appear but, like I said, she just returns to/stays in Big Town.
