  1. Ladies and gentlemen, I have fixed the issue. All textures work fine. Solution: You don't need to uninstall any mods so don't have a panic attack if you're load order is thicc* - I'm using the steam version of New Vegas so this might not work for other versions. Step 1 - Disable archive invalidation Step 2 - Delete all instances of Fallout.ini, FalloutCustom.ini, Fallout_default.ini. and FalloutPrefs.ini. Step 3 - Verify game via steam Step 4 - Wait for steam to reinstall any missing files Step 5 - Run New Vegas once through steam then again launch FalloutNVLauncher as an administrator Step 6 - Reactivate archive invalidation Step 7 - Launch NVSE through your mod launcher (In my case FOMM) To the masses of people in the comment section of body replacers that can't get them to work I hope you find this.
  2. Ok scratch everything, after digging in my texture folder I went back to using the built in FOMM/Nexus manager archive validation and lo and behold "Everything just works." Default textures are working alongside modded ones, but this is fallout we're talking about and the one single mod that refuses to comply is Type 3 body replacer. I keep getting the "black underwear glitch" I've reset invalidation, I've check the pathing, everything. When I load up everything in the geck the textures look fine but when in game female textures are splotchy and have the black underwear. Female raiders and a few rando female npcs are the only ones exempt from this. I guess this thread can be marked as solved, this is now a trouble shoot regarding Type 3 body replacer. TlDr: Built in archive invalidation just starts working properly after reactivating it a million times, Dimonized Type 3 hates me. Thank you all for the help and recommendations and taking time out to reply to me, I feel as though you all aren't thanked enough after helping or providing advice.
  3. (At work currently) Ah I see what you're saying. Before posting here I spent at least an hour going through my textures folder moving things around and there is a lot of extra junk in there. Problem is most of it came from manual intall only mods so I'm having to go through my downloads folder to find what's what. There are some that came from fomods and are being pathed correctly but I suspect many are just loose bits that are gunking up my textures. I think I need to boot up the geck and check what's what. But I will be posting mod list and the rest of the info when I can.
  4. About to leave my computer for some time but I will update the thread via that link you provided when I can.
  5. Ok, in brief i've been modding since Morrowind however after coming back to New Vegas i've encountered some weird issues with textures. Neither the built in archive invalidation work on FOMM or Nexus mod manger, or rather they don't completely work. They allow MOST modded textures to work but a few do not and a few cause the pink/missing texture bug. After multiple bug testing I decided to download ArchiveInvalidation.txt File Generator and this fixes all of the issues mentioned previously, however it causes a new issue. Default texture no long appear, any mod that only slightly changes textures (Face mod but not body mod, or parts of armor replacers) causes black or pink textures. So i've been having to hunt down every hd texture pack i can to fix this. Does anyone know whats going on, how to make default textures peek through, or how to fix this because I hate having to stop playing to hunt down a texture mod. So far I've had to find texture mods for; teeth, raider bodies, default npc heads, power armor textures, male upper body textures. It seems that any mod that only slightly changes something then allows the default game to take over the rest causes an issue. I'd just like default textures to work along side mods, I never remembered ever having this issue. PS: If this is a simple fix and I'm just being dumb please tell me the fix and point and laugh at me at the same time.
  6. Solved: This was a nexus mod manager issue. Mod Manager would enable Colorful Magic even if it had been unchecked and when deleted, Mod Manager still believed the mod was active and needed to be loaded but that would simply crashed the game. Fixed by using the "Disable all the active plugins" feature.
  7. I use Save Tool frequently to clean all my saves when uninstalling a script heavy mod and as I said earlier my game crashes from the main logo, I can't even open a save. And I've already prepared for completely rebuilding Skyrim with a clean wipe. I just came here to see if anyone else ever had this problem so it won't be duplicated. I've been modding since Morrowind so I know how scripts and such work. To be clear: The crash I am experiencing happens as soon as the Skyrim logo is seen, the menu does not come up and I cannot load a save. This occurs when ColorfulMagic.esp is not in the Skyrim Data folder. When making a new save with ColorfulMagic.esp unchecked the mod will still be present in the new save. I've tried clean saving. Script deleting via Save Tool. Removing all mod parts from data folder (Meshes, Textures, Scripts, etc.) It's like the mod itself has become linked to Skyrim.esm or something. And again i'm prepared to re-install Skyrim and all my mods, I just want to find the cause of this so it won't be repeated.
  8. I've gone through and manually deleted every file from colorful magic with help of Nexus Mod Manger to find all the loose files. The game will crash unless the ColorfulMagic.esp is in my data folder, active or unactive from mod manager. Even when it is unactive all parts of the mod are working in my game, except after manually deleting it characters from the mod are still active but invisible. I don't understand how this mod still persists to work after deleting everything and not even activating the esp file in mod manager. It just simply won't stop. I'm starting to think the only way to fix this is to completely re-install Skyrim from scratch because verifying game cache in Steam finds nothing wrong. Even if every single part of this mod is removed from my data folder my game crashes from the main menu, before I even load a save so clean saving wouldn't be an issue. The esp literally just has to be hanging in my data folder and it's like it turns itself on. Thanks for your help and patience btw, this is just really frustrating me as I've never had an issue with a mod like this before.
  9. Don't know if this helps or no but the esp file can be un-checked and the mod will still be active but if I remove the esp from my data folder Skyrim crashes to desktop on launch. Just the esp and nothing else I have no clue why.
  10. I downloaded it manually and when I use the mod manager like you suggested it only overwrites the files, I don't think It gets rid of them.
  11. Im having difficultly uninstalling this mod. No matter what I do it won't stop, even if I uncheck the esp file everything in the mod is still active and if I remove the mod manually by going through Skyrim data I get a CTD when launching Skyrim. Nothing I do seems to work. I'm using the Whiterun Merchant version.
  12. Theirs a Guts Face mod i found for hardcore Berserk fans! Started reading the manga after I saw your project. 0% homework done so far.
  13. Dude this looks amazing! Could you make the armor a little bit better stats wise then Dragon Bone? This just looks so good :] In one of the other pics the hand was bent down, is that going to be something added in-game?
