  1. Hi all, I've been reading over the creation kit wiki but cannot find any section that explains how to get a model from 3ds max into the creation kit. If anyone knows how or can post a link I'd be most obliged =)

  3. I tried extracting it using the tools I had for Oblivion but I get an error. Is there any way to extract the texture files yet? I want to get modeling!
  4. Hi everyone Begginer Dragon Age modder here. I've created many assets in 3ds max that I'd like to add to the game. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get them into the game though. So far I've found that I can right click and use "insert model". My model doesn't have and textures on it (might be my problem in exporting. I do use DAOtools) However when I load the level into the area the model doesn't appear. Just to clear this up, I'm attempting to add a model of a house to the game. So it isn't anything that will need to be interacted with or anything like that. The part I'm looking for is what I'm supposed to do in the toolset. Am I supposed to create a new placeable and the appearance should be my model...or? I have the models in the override folder.
  5. So I've made several buildings and walls etc. in 3ds max that I want to add to my game. I exported them using the Eshme DAOTools. I just for the life of me can't figure out how to put them in game =( Any help is much appreciated.

  7. I have a very large mod I want to create and would like to start a team for it. I have a very detailed overview of game including a 43 page document regarding the world of the mod and an actual book that I've written that the mod will be based off of. I am looking for a place that could help me start a team. Any help pointing me in a direction will be much appreciated.
  8. Thanks for all the help guys. It turns out it was a bad location for textures. I got the textures working properly now, thanks a lot!
  9. Hi all. Long time mod user, beginner modder . So I've been working on this building model and I've modeled it and textured it. I used a uvw unwrap method to texture it using materials I built with textures from the oblivion folder. I am exporting the file as nif and importing it into oblivion. When I import it into oblivion it shows up as a purple texture instead of the ones I assigned. To make sure it wasn't my exporting method I imported a house from oblivion into 3ds max and exported it again under a new name / folder. I then imported this into oblivion with no problems.   11. Well I got it to load textures into Nifscope but they still don't load into oblivion =(
