I asked there, but I guess it got lost in the conversation. Thank you!

Hey all, I'd like to do some Hex editing on morphstatic assets. How do I export them? Cheers

Frosty Tools not loading Mods
EightLights replied to EightLights's topic in Dragon Age: Inquisition's Troubleshooting
Ok, the problem is sorted now. It had something to do with the DLC bundle. That and checking every converted .daimod one by one.- 12 replies

Frosty Tools not loading Mods

Yeah, I read those... I went over the DAI modding Discord and I'm asking for help there. I'll post here if I manage to fix it. Thank you!- 12 replies

Hey all, Given the new release of Frosty Tools I decided to fully make the migration from the old toolset. After a clean install of the game, Frosty and the mods I wanted, I launched the game.... but no mods actually loaded in. Even after moving the directory, giving full administrative privileges, deleting the "Mods" and "ModData" folders, removing the "read only" attribute from the files it just doesn't work... Both imported .daimod's and new .fbmods. Can someone walk me through installation again, see what I might have missed? I did mod Andromeda plenty, so at least I'm familiar with this... Thanks!

Read this post. I don't want to type it all out again. As for meshes, I can't speak to those, since I've never dealt with them. At the moment, I'm waiting to be able to import fonts into Frosty. I'm not going to play DAI without my font mod. Awesome! Thank you very much!

Hello everyone Frosty recently updated DAI compatibility. Just wondering if anyone has played around with it? It seems really promising, especially the mesh import feature. What's the word?

Tattoo creation issue

Also, for future reference to anyone: Make sure to load Transparency as the Alpha Channel when you open the file so you can make any sense of it. -

No problem! Happy modding! (your first born wouldn't happen to have an archdemon in it would it? xD) -
Tattoo creation issue

Also, remember to save back as a .DDS (I think it "Export as..." in GIMP). For "Compression", choose "BC3/DXT5". For "Mipmaps", select "No mipmaps". Your file will be exported as a .dds file that's ready to import into Mod Maker. -
Tattoo creation issue

Ok, just checked it myself. So how this works is that all the tattoos are condensed in a single file. What the Alpha does is transparency (and that weird full face tattoo). Ignore the alpha and just replace the channel you want, for example Red. Turn off all other channels and work only in that one. Use a white brush to draw and erase using black. When you import it to the game you should see it -
180º Shield on Back
EightLights replied to EightLights's topic in Dragon Age: Inquisition's Troubleshooting
Hahaha, caught it! It was LS2DD! I'll let the mod author know. -
It seems to be a format error. Keep in mind that when editing a hairstyle for DAI you can't eliminate any vertexes...

Can you see the channels in GIMP? Photoshop has a setting under "Layer" that allows to see separate channels (as in ARBG). You should try turning the Red and Green channel off, see what you might find. Let me know :) -
Hello everyone. I have a curious problem in the form of shields rotating 180º while resting and while it's kinda funny it also ruins immersion a bit. Any idea which mod could be causing this? Here's the mod list: Cheers!
