  1. thanks for showing the axe, as for the armor, i guess oh well, heh.
  2. That's not the armor I want, I want the Dungeons and dragons style of Blackguard Armor.
  3. I want an armor like this for a mod that I am working on, I am not very useful at making new meshes and textures. http://www.wizards.com/dnd/images/DnD_InWorksApril_Blackguard.jpg Maybe this axe too. http://www.globalgear.com.au/images/coc22.jpg
  4. I am not that experienced with scripting and it doesn't seem that any group or modder has taken tot he mod.
  5. A delay and set scale script would work in theory.
  6. I was thinking more like. --Good-- Blue, Gold, and Silver/White colors lion might be good, but an eagle or hammer would be more appropriate there are already churches to the nine --Evil-- Red and black colors with an axe or sword symbol. I think that it would be more appropriate to have grave yard buildings, like crypts as buildings The guilds would be good.
  7. Tyrant sounds like a good one, I wants parts for both sides and try to make differences. I also thought that a grave yard would be a nice addition to the evil side but i need something for good, any ideas?
  8. The idea is unique and possible to make, all it requires is a delay script, a replacing script, and a creating script. The only other thing would be the NPCs made in the CS.
  9. I like the forging guild idea, that might add a little more to the mod, if the other member is already creating it, he may use this mod if he so chooses.
  10. That might be fun, you can become a count if your good, then we need an equal title for the evil, evil tends to want to take over, not join the good.
  11. Its me but the thread went dead very fast, and as others said, it would have been better to post it here. Oh and the gold and silver bar meshes work great, I have everything but a working script done for this mod, though I added about 30 different metals and elements and some of them could have had better textures.
  12. I have been looking for a forging or crafting mod that allows you to break unwanted weapons and armor down into base components and then reforge into a wanted Items. It should be a simple mod to make but Not taken into consideration, The mods I see mostly deal with making bars based on the objects worth, which come in 100,000s when you reach the later points in game and become annoying. My idea is to have the bars made by its weight, having the bars weigh 1lb each. I am going for a more realistic forging mod. I was getting tired of getting 13,850 bars for one set of Daedric armor, its more realistic to get 162 bars. Example: Iron Shortsword weighs 8lbs so it would make, at max, 8 bars. Prices for Bars: Iron - 1 Gold Steel - 1 Gold Silver - 3 Gold Dwarven - 5 Gold Elven - 10 Gold Glass - 15 Gold Mithril - 20 Gold Orcish - 20 Gold Ebony - 30 Gold Daedric - 45 Gold The price of the bars are less then the armor and weapons they make. Armorer 25 - 100% lost to waste, 25% salvaged 50 - 50% lost to waste, 50% salvaged 75 - 25% lost to waste, 75% salvaged 100 - No waste in making, 100% of material salvaged
  13. I like the idea for a family mod, it would be realistic to have a family, have set aging stages for children, maybe even be able to marry npcs. It would also be more realistic to have a larger population in cities, towns and even have children playing around in town. Also it would be interesting to have the children grow up and become fighters and companions for the game.
  14. Is anyone willing to at least look at this mod? All it would need is a decent quest line and i believe it would become a nice mod.
  15. I could still use ideas on possible quests for this mod.
  16. This looks great. I would have to use this in game, maybe change the color a bit for my weapon but I love the look of it.
  17. I think the best thing would to have it as an exterior city cell, that way there would be less lagg, and an easier transition when a new building is added.
  18. I am thinking that the base of the village should be the same, only have a wood wall surrounding it, then when upgraded, replace the burned down buildings with new buildings. I like the idea of having a quest to burn down everything to start from scratch. that would be entertaining. Any more ideas for quests?
  19. Oh and i have all the time in the world to wait, feel free to take your time and make it as in depth and long as you want. My ideas will be coming out for a bit and I will add any of the mods that i think of. My next project will be an addon tot eh mages guild quest for evil players. It will be called Project - Blackguard, mostly a necromancer mod. I like to see it when my ideas are taken and given life. I have about 10 more projects in production that will be released as notes and ideas here soon.
  20. I was going to add that the Legion attacks every so often if you choose evil, but i thought that might make it more difficult for the evil to build an army and i would need to find something to attack the good the is equally as devastating.. I also thought that goblin raiders and bandits might be a good touch. The reason i don't want the old villagers is because then annoyed me when i stole their precious bible, and they attacked me every time i wanted to pass through, so i slaughtered them all and ended up with an empty village. I had the idea to build up a village about a month or 2 ago, but dismissed the idea when i found Servant of The Dawn.
  21. I wanted to turn Hackdirt into a small walled village. Have buy-able upgrades and additions to the village. Start with a quest to wipe out the settlement and then have a quest to either choose good (Priest) or evil (Necromancer), with 2 Npcs that sell different sets. I honestly favor the Evil side, but I also want others to be able to choose a side (Faction). I am not very educated with Oblivion scripting, that is why I am adding my idea to the forums to hopefully have a group produce my idea. I hope to be adding more Projects to the forums. ------General------ Place a Tax/Tribute chest near the Main building that is not re-spawning but gains gold at a rate of 100g per villager/follower per day. -----Good------ Additions Mayor House (Player House) - 20,000 Gold Shops - 20,000 Gold - Benefit: 1,000 gold per day Church (9 Divine) - 50,000 Gold - Benefit: 1 faith per day and allows Paladins Barracks - 50,000 Gold - Benefit: Allows soldiers Farm - 25,000 Gold - Benefit: 1 food per day Underground Storage - 1,000 Gold - Benefit: Non-Respawning Storage Daily Options Mass - +5 Faith, -5,000 Gold Attract Villagers - +1 villager, -1 Food Harvest - +5 Food, -5,000 Gold Sell Food - +6,000 Gold, -5 Food Raid Dungeons - +3,000 Gold and +2 faith, -5 food Units Militia (Sack Cloth, Club) Archer (Fur,Iron Bow) Swordsman (Iron, Iron longsword) Cleric (Grey Robes, Steel Mace) Knight (Steel, Silver Claymore) Paladin (Mithril, Silver Warhammer) Recruiting Cost Militia - 1 Villager, 100 Gold Archer - 1 Villager, 200 Gold Swordsman - 1 Villager, 300 Gold Cleric - 1 Villager, 1 Faith, 300 Gold Knight - 1 Villager, 2 Faith, 1,000 Gold Paladin - 2 Villager, 5 Faith, 2,500 Gold -------Evil------- Additions Vampire Manor(Player House) - 20,000 Gold Necromancer Shop - 20,000 Gold - Benefit: 1,000 gold per day Temple (Sithis) - 50,000 Gold - Benefit: 1 faith per day and allows Blackguards Stronghold - 50,000 Gold - Benefit: Allows soldiers Butcher Shop - 25,000 Gold - Benefit: 1 food per day Underground Dungeon - 15,000 Gold - Benefit: Allows Vampires Daily Options Sacrifices - +5 Faith, -1 Follower Gather Followers - +1 follow, -1 food Hunt - +5 Food, -5,000 Gold Raid A Village - +5,000 Gold, +8,000 Bounty Slaughter A Village - +3,000 Gold and +2 Faith, +10,000 Bounty Units Skeleton (Club) Zombie Ghost Vampire (Leather, Steel War Axe) Necromancer (Necromancer Robes, Silver Dagger) Blackguard (Ebony, Ebony Claymore) Recruiting Cost Skeleton - 1 Follower, 100 Gold Zombie - 1 Follower, 200 Gold Ghost - 1 Follower, 300 Gold Vampire - 1 Follower, 500 Gold Necromancer - 1 Follower, 3 Faith, 1,500 Gold Blackguard - 2 Followers, 10 Faith, 3,000 Gold Please tell me what you think of this idea, add ideas for quest lines, and maybe even expand on the base. My next idea will be one to expand onto the Mage guild quest line.
  22. I like Pronam's idea of wasted metal. I have thought of a scale as well, this will keep it from becoming too much of a cheat by itself. Armorer 25 - 100% lost to waste, 25% salvaged 50 - 50% lost to waste, 50% salvaged 75 - 25% lost to waste, 75% salvaged 100 - No waste in making, 100% of material salvaged I already had the idea that Beerto said, the gold bar meshes are excellent bases for the main metals. Adding mining might become a hassle and have incompatibility issues with other mods that deal with mines. I myself would lose a nice dungeon mod that I made. A possible way around this is to add new mines to the game, which might become more of a hassle in the long run as the main source of material would be from loot.
  23. I have a Longbow, if it was made of metal, it could make 2 pairs of boots. It weighs only 3 pounds and is wood, metal weighs a lot more.
  24. Sounds good. I will be checking in to see what i can do. I have many ideas for mods, I have not completely figured out the scripting for oblivion and that's why my construction is limited. If anyone is willing to take up this mod, i would be happy to hear. I will occasionally post ideas for mods that i feel would add more to the game. I myself am working on a cult mod that has similar parts like Servant of The Dawn, A well created mod, the difference is the cult are the Blackguard and they are necromancers mostly. Still working off Jpms Necromancy mod too, mostly adding more undead types, etc.
