Keeping an eye for the update here since this seems like the most active thread for it... mine started that error message today after the update as well. You can still play if you just use the original FalloutNV shortcut but some of your mods may act strange.

Hello all, Really suprised how many mods were out for NV already. Originally ran through the story after exploring everything, then backpedaled a few saves and started modding (doesn't that usually happen to everyone?). The first time I noticed the issue was actually with the vanilla character Lady Jane. She seems to be hanging out right outside the North gate and when I try to talk to her, it zooms in, and right back out. No dialogue at all. Since I had already done the debt collector quests, I didn't give it much thought. Then I started adding mods : Herculines Shojo companions (with required other addons) - this worked for a while but then after adding a few more companions, and a few quests, they do the zoom-in, zoom-out no speak thing too. All 13 of them will do this. Misty, companion near Primm - zoom-in, zoom-out AEGIS99's stealth armors quests - Kari Wong zoom-in, zoom-out, no speak There are a couple others that escape me now but I'm not sure if this is a conflict with something in vanilla or the mods themselves. Anyone have any ideas?
