  1. Ok i've just had a total whoa moment here, actually paused my game to write about it. Walking along, when I heard a bear roar. Look around to see where it is and I see it fighting with ... well basically the air, like in a frenzy, and then run off. Walk in that direction to see what was going on and I heard bees, then see a bunch of bees swarming about. The bear was going for the honey in the beehive and the bees had chased it off. Totally cool :)
  2. Ok I just had another one here, I'm at the mages college dumping off some loot I can't sell at the moment, and taking a quick rest in my bed for that rested bonus, I come out ready to go on with my next mission and suddenly there's these mohawked guys coming towards the college entrance..... I've played maybe 400 hours or so thusfar and thought to myself "this is new...."... turns out they are hired thugs hunting ME down for stealing something from someone. I mean I totally deserved it, but still.. whoa :)
  3. Yeah those are the radiant quests, not really worried about those :)
  4. Problem is, the miscellaneous quests (the ones easiest to miss) do not go into the completed quests lists, so you really have no way of knowing whether you missed any. Add to that the fact some quests only appear under certain conditions (if you've already done something, or have something, or even meet a character at a certain time of day....) and it's very likely everyone has missed some quests, would just have been nice to have a command to let you play anything you've missed is all.
  5. Lol no you got it exactly right, i was just hoping there'd be a command to save me (and everyone else who wants to do every quest but isn't sure if he missed any) a load of time ;)
  6. Hmmmm, saq does not seem to do what i was hoping it would. It seems to activate EVERY quest and start them all, what i was looking for was a command to start quest lines, as well as miscellaneous quests (so i could do any I might have missed along the way). I don't see anything like that on the console page, I guess that means there is no such command?
  7. Thanks for the link, found the two commands; saq - starts all quests and tmm 1,0,0 - adds all undiscovered map locations and makes them fast travel enabled plus a bunch of other useful commands, thanks again :)
  8. I was planning on killing Ma'iq, but then i took an arrow to the knee... just sayin :)
  9. For those of us who have pretty much finished the game (as far as we know)..... Is there a command that initiates the first stage of every quest? Would be nice to see every first stage of every quest on the journal so that you can see if you've missed any. Also, is there any command that reveals every location on the map?
  10. Rule of thumb, anytime you sneak behind an unsuspecting person (even a thief who is not acting as a thief at that moment, just calmly minding his own business), and stab them to death, that's usually considered murder :) If the guy attacks you and you kill him you're fine. If he's minding his own business, and you see him first and decide to go into sneak mode to kill him, that's murder. That's obviously not a bug.
  11. Seriously though, If you get shot with an arrow in real life you're usually going down, hard, and you're not going to get back up easily. You should not need all kinds of enchantments, you just got shot with a freaking arrow for petes sakes :)
  12. Re the question about why "everyone" hates console players. A few issues; A lot of people who are not tech savvy, can easily use consoles to play games, then when they get stuck they come online and ask newbie-like questions. Nothing wrong with that at all of course, but, it gives the entire "community" the veneer of being unknowledgeable about computers. It's pretty much the same the same stigma AOLers suffered. Add to that, the fact that a lot of companies make games for consoles, and don't make the same games for the PC, giving the feeling among some PC gamers that console users are hurting the PC gaming community. Look at EA Sports for example, they've stopped making games like the NHL line for the PC citing piracy concerns. That sort of thing causes a backlash unfortunately. I guess those are the two main things which contribute to the negativity. Personally I say, use whatever gaming device you can to play whatever games you want :)
  13. Yeah they are, and Paarthunax is basically a badass yoda :)
