  1. Hi guys, I seem to have a weird bug where I have unequipped armor effects (advanced radiation suit rad resistance) and a massive drop in SPECIAL levels from drug effects from a mod called Genas More Complex Chems. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mod to no avail. The effects are all only supposed to be temporary. Is there any trick or console command where I can actually remove these active effects? Thanks in advance.
  2. Yeah here, I am serious. I am not so free atm but I am very interested in doing a collaboration with you on this particular project. Just fire me off a personal message when you get a chance and we'll go from there. :)
  3. Ha! Love it. It would be really funny seeing all these junkies walking around. Also I'd like to add maybe there could also be a possible sidejob/sidequest where you can provide drugs for some pimp operations or something. Or maybe your drug empire extends to prostitution as well. So then you can eventually rule all of the illegal activity in Freeside (or beyond?), after fighting tough battles with other crime lords. But also (I just thought of this just now) maybe instead of drug dealing the player could instead choose to crack down on the drug dealing. Or maybe not even that. Maybe as a well established drug dealer you can make deals with corrupt NCR people to either help muscle your operation or look the other way or something. But then Legion, since they hate drugs they often hit your operation hard (and/or maybe you have some Frumentarii in your organization ruining you under your nose). Ah man. This mod sounds so awesome I actually might want to work on it. Just that I think certain sections of Freeside will need to be expanded so I'm worried about a lot of mod conflicts. Yeah, there's no short of corruption in the NCR, so bribery is not out the question (after a quick barter/charisma check). The side jobs things sounds cool. I'd want to get the sense that protagonist is gaining more power and territorial sway as he grows in power. Just out of curiousity,, what kind of modding experience do you have? Mine is very minor, but I want to work on some sort of prototype that is basically like the dealing feature off of Marijuana Plant mod (where you can offer to sell bud to nearly every NPC in the game and even grow your own plants).
  4. Hey there guys. I was underwhelmed by the chem dealing aspect of the game, considering the massive involvement of it in the game. The only person you could sell in large quantities at a somewhat profitable price was Motor Runner, and if you wanted to go the route of Jethead, you only really had Dixon's nasty Jet or a handful of other venders. I am thinking about trying to create my own mod; It would essentially give the protagonist a chance to manufacture and deal their own Jet. I've set up a few recipes (using the More Traits "Born to be Wild" trait recipes' templates, which I altered) for players to make chems from from household ingredients (detergent, Abraxo cleaner, whiskey, turpentine, scorpion glands, gunpowder, .etc), and the ability to purifiy Dixon's Jet into real Jet. have had tried to set up a few rival drug dealers in Freeside with little luck. Basically, I hope to be able to set up a feature where you can prompt individuals to purchase varying quantities of Jet (one, five or ten) at preset price. Perhaps you can ask anyone potentially if they want to buy Jet, but asking the wrong person (Chief Hanlon. Caesar) might be bad for your health. From this base point, I'd like to see what kind of interest there is in the modding community to help to implement quests to score large quantities of drugs/precursor materials), and have la mini-game (similar to the guard mission for the Van Graff's) called Slang on Your Street corner, involving selling on a street corner, where people will approach you to buy, rip off or attempt to bust you (undercover NCR) until your present stock is depleted. Of course, dealing would you put in on bad terms with the Followers and the Kings, and, if you're not using them as a supplier, the Great Khans. Get large enough, and the fiends would come to respect you and not even be hostile to you and your party (maybe). It would also be cool if you had turf on which you could sell from and expand as you become more active. Perhaps you'll see more and more junkie types wandering around Freeside and in the Mormon Fort. So, what are your guys' thoughts? Any suggestions, advice, general comments?
  5. Oh, nevermind. Casm for some reason was not saving saved games to the top of menu, but lower since i chose a different saving profile.
  6. I've been playing for a while with no issues, but my games has suddenly decided I should not be allowed to save. Whether it is a Casm save, a quick save, or a menu save, it refuse. I tried reinstalled Casm and making sure I had enough room in Win7, but to no avail. Any advice on how to proceed?
  7. Thanks man. I downloaded this a while back and will give your suggestions a shot.
  8. Is my character hallucinating (he does like to do a lot of Jet and booze) or is there some fixable, mod-related cause to this issue? I'm having some weird ass texture issues with my Dan's Presidential Suite mod. http://i48.tinypic.com/befwk.jpg This is in the maintenance room of the Lucky 38. http://i49.tinypic.com/v8j2tt.jpg This is the door leading to the Strip of the Lucky 38. Also, vanilla game textures like the reload bench in the Maintenance Area has a missing mesh (giant exclamation mark), and same with the display stands in Dock 1 (I believe that's dock 1.) I have got a merged patch at the bottom of the list. Any advice?
  9. UPDATE: Now I'm finding certian villian NPCs have the same issue! I was doing the door guard mission for the Van Grafts and their dialogues was audio-less. All other forms of noise are okay. Now it seems like any vanilla random NPC is having the same problem. And ideas how to fix this would be amazing!
  10. Hey fellas, I've been playing through the NV Bounties for the second time and my new game, and about halfway through there was no more sound on any of the NPCs brought in this mod. I tried exporting the "sound" contained in original NVB rar file to no avail; same problem persists. I can post up a Load Order on request. Any advice?
  11. Nah, no luck. I had around 5gig RAM free, and the most FNV would take is 750. Still getting the crashes. Any ideas? I'm runnin the 4GB software as the launcher in Configurator, I'll try using it on its own.
  12. Alright buddy, I'll give it a try and see how it goes. gracias.
