Sorry if this has been brought up before, I didn't see it anywhere. I've been trying to figure out why my INI changes weren't working today for 5 hours. I tracked it down to a mod having an INI with nearly all of the same variables - thus overwriting my actual INI during load. I assumed this mod was created poorly, removed it, and the problem was resolved. Now that I've tried making more changes, I see that it's back. What's really happening is that somehow Vortex is taking my Fallout4Custom INI and dumping the contents into the latest-loaded plugin that has an INI file. This prevents manual edits to INI values unless you do so in (in my case) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4 VR\Data\PlaceInRedStandalone.ini" - which makes absolutely no sense. Can someone explain to me what I did to cause this? Or reassure me that I'm not losing my mind and it's a bug with Vortex? Thanks for your time!
