I have this problem as well. Best I can tell a mod is interfering with "Alternate start Live another Life", but I'm not sure which one it is. I think I remember seeing it but I didn't have the problem at the time, so I don't remember for sure. Also, it may have even had a compatibility patch. If you find it please let me know I'm looking as well lol. This could be your problem, found on Alternate Start page in "compatibility" : Become High King of Skyrim - Edits MQ101, though it's a dirty edit. Either clean the mod using TES5Edit or make sure it loads BEFORE Live Another Life so that it won't cause the "new game" menu to get stuck. Also, Alternate Start should be last in your load order, or close to it. Did you run LOOT?

Songs of sadness. The lacking of standalone and/or retexes of armors for skyrim special edition is disheartening. I would love some skimpy and lore friendly armors, such as vampire armor, for SSE.

I recently reformatted, and was pretty excited to mod Skyrim again, as I like to do every couple of years. I wanted to try that Tetrachromatic ENB with my 980Ti and all that Vram! So I broke my cardinal rule, which is install a crapton of mods at once without launching the game and making sure everything was cool. Well it wasn't. So I tried uninstalling one by one, but that got me all the way down to SKSE, SkyUI, Apachi Skyhair and Caliente's body replacer. Long story short, i was going to uninstall all my mods and start from scratch. But now it seems my mods won't take at all. I'm running SKSE from the Steam workshop since that seemed easier, but SkyUI and the rest of my mods are run by NMM. They all fail to take it seems. Which is extremely weird. I've tried uninstalling the game, mods, and reinstalling one by one but no dice. Any suggestions on what I might be missing? EDIT: SKSE seems to be running fine, as well as SkyUI, but ApachiSkyHair is not as all hair styles are bald, and Calientes body is not as it is the vanilla model.

You beat all the minimum specs... I'd say fine on medium and maybe high settings. Extreme/Ultra might not run fluid, but fine otherwise.

I just ran Skyrim after installing Windows 10, and it looked terrible. Then I tried a new game and several textures wouldn't render at all. Checked these with file verification, Loot, and NMM, and no files were changed in any way. Is this because of dx12 and different renderers? Is there any fix? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Are you using Windows 10?

I have this problem as well. Just finished a new compy build that I knew would handle all the mods I could throw at it and the RealENB and I get this crap water flicker/glitch and annoying sound any time I'm by water. VERY annoying. BenQ 144hz monitor I'm running at 90 fps most of the time.

I have a crash upon entering Jorvaskur for the FIRST TIME. New character, and I've activated 3 mods - Fishing in Skyrim, and More fish, but I've updated like 5 or 6. So basically with 100+ mods that all worked fine together, I'm completely lost as to whats crashing my game now. Wonderful.

Same problem here, lvl 49 with 75% done main and sidequests, as well as several follower mods b/c I've already beat vanilla. setplayerfollowercount 0 is all I could do as well.
